How To Make Simple 12v Battery Charger Circuit At Home

In this video, we are going to show you making a 12v battery charger circuit. There are many kind of battery charger circuit, half wave battery charger circuit is one of them. To make this circuit, you don’t need enough electronics component. You can make this circuit at home easily.

Too much amateurish approach. Extremely unsafe way for a hobbyist. Too high capacitance used for lead acid battery charger.

@@bravelionheart6572 At the beginning (00:30 sec onwards) the transformer is being tested using a series bulb having a naked set of wires, using bare hands holding naked wires - it's an absolute safety hazard. A standard digital / analog multimeter can easily be used to check the transformer.
Secondly, using a 2200 uf capacitor is not suitable for charging lead acid batteries, you may use 220 / 330 uf capacitor. Lower value capacitance does not filter the ac line noise, which is vital to properly charge a lead acid battery. Noise filtration is a must for audio / video projects, but not required for lead acid battery chargers. However, filtration has no such effect on
Nickel-Metal Hydride batteries.
