First off, welcome back to TH-cam after a few months! As always, great, comprehensive, and well-detailed review. Hoping that PAL's recent deal with Collins Aerospace Philippines for the narrowbodies will come into fruition as soon as possible, since the airline's A320s and A321ceos badly needs refurbishment, not to mention some of their A330s that still run the LCC-style interior. According to some sources, the Pinnacle is the potential seat model for PAL's narrowbodies, and the best thing about it is that those seats will be made in Collins' plant in Tanauan, Batangas. And while PAL lags big time in their hard product, the cabin crew you've got are just superb.
Haha thank you, edward! been quite busy with other things lately, but i try to upload a new video at least every two weeks. I’m also looking forward to the locally-made Collins Aerospace seats! Hopefully, everything goes smoothly so they can enter service by next year. The cabin crew, as always, are amazing!
Hi, Biyajimenez! Thank you for sharing your detailed review of your Bangkok to Manila flight with us! We highly appreciate our passengers' feedback as they truly help us in our continuous service enhancement. We're truly sorry to hear about the chaotic boarding process for your flight. Although the assignment of check-in counters at the airport is beyond the airline's control, we understand that the scattered setup can be confusing. Rest assured, we will work with the airport authorities to look into this to provide a more seamless travel experience to all of our passengers. As we aim to be your home in the sky, we understand how important comfort is during your flight, and we’re sorry the legroom did not meet your expectations. Your comment about the inflight entertainment and the aircraft needing refurbishment is also noted and will be shared to the relevant offices for their attention and assessment. Regarding the meal, we regret that the fish option did not hit the spot and we greatly appreciate your feedback which will be passed on to our catering team for improvement. On a brighter note, we’re delighted to know that you enjoyed the coffee we served. Lastly, it’s wonderful to hear about the exceptional service provided by our cabin crew. Your kind words will surely motivate them to continue delivering heartfelt service. Thank you again for flying with us and for taking the time to share your insights. We hope to welcome you on board again soon and provide an even better travel experience.
PAL provides inferior service. Let's face it. I recently flew NY MNL, MNL NY flight and compared to other airlines PAL service has little or nothing to compare even for bad USA based airlines like United or Delta.
OLD AIRPLANES NO WAY no flight entertainment OMG 4hrs flight AIRLINE TICKETS😱TOO PRICEY ITS NOT WORTH UR MONEY🫨😶🌫️🤯POOR INFLIGHT SERVICE real talk✅🧐👊YUP REALLY NEED IMPROVEMENT better other ASIAN AIRLINES✅CX, ANA, EVA AIR, JAL, China Airlines, Singapore Airlines, THAI✈️RIP OFF PAL👊
There could be a socket in between where the life jackets are kept. They are under the seats. Good content. Taking some notes for my own travel vlog. Thank you for this good review.
Hey great review as always! Hopefully PAL could consider retrofitting the cabins on their A321ceos. Their cabin products on their narrowbody fleet does feel inconsistent.
Starting in 2025, PAL will retrofit the A321ceos with new cabins and IFE similar to the A321neo SRs. And I agree that the A321ceo hard product is tired and a sad remnant of when SMC owned PAL.
Thanks, Isaac! PAL actually announced the refurbishment of their A321ceos earlier this year. Just hoping there won’t be any delays. I’m looking forward to seeing them enter service by next year. *fingers-crossed* haha
I am looking for this route as well, maybe also Chiang Mai. PAL , Thai , Airasia or Cebu Pacific for non stop flights? I just see that TG uses a A350 on that route!!! That would be great!
I’ve heard good reviews about Thai from friends! Unfortunately, they stopped deploying the A350s back in November :( For now, they’re using the 777s for two of their daily flights.
Pal needs to use these old airplanes on domestic service only not as international flights as you see no leg room old seats no inflight entertainment its like people squashed in can of sardines better off using another airline and pay cheaper ticket until pal updates its fleet of aircraft and offers a better product
Unfortunately, PAL doesn’t have the luxury of limiting these planes to domestic flights due to their limited fleet. However, they do have a planned refurbishment of the A321ceos in the works, so let’s hope everything goes smoothly!
Bonjour aux Paris 😊, spending some time here in the French capital after arriving 🛬 from Manila on Air France since they returned last December 08, the route to Europe takes us to Southern China and on to Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan the Central Asian countries unheard of also known as the Silk Road then crossing the Caspian Sea into Azerbaijan and Georgia and the Black Sea over Northern Turkiye thus avoiding Ukrainian airspace then to Romania in Eastern Europe onwards to France, on my flight I was very well looked after by the cabin crew led by Anne Claire, Carole and Jean Louis as I was seated on Business Class. Be back in Manila in January in the meantime Joyeux Noel 🎄 aux Paris, France. Bon Voyage.
@@Biyajimenez Bonjour, currently staying in Lyon, France's second largest city and the country's gastronomic capital a 2 hour trip on the high speed TGV train with my friend Alain and his gorgeous wife Mireille they're joining me on my return flight to Manila, we're heading to Arles in the Provence region, hope you can try traveling on Air France 🇫🇷 on your next vlog. Bonne Chance.
10:52 exactly. Why would I get on a Philippine Airlines flight, when I could just go for the cheaper Cebu Pacific? No inflight entertainment, same airplane model (the Airbus a320 family), might as well get into Cebu Pacific. At least they own the very airplanes they fly, not wet-leasing them. Hence it would mean Cebu Pacific would take more extra care maintaining their fleet. Thus more extra care maintenance means a mechanically safer airplane.

Nice report. Is it right that you have 30 kg luggage allowance with PAL in economy on the route between Manila and Bangkok ?
yes, 30kg for bkk-mnl! thank you for watching! :)
