yea its crazy. i didnt even realize but then i was listening to a podcast where it was pointed out that the entire 9 season run of the flash was announced and finished before the flash movie was ever released. and the movie was announced first.🤣🤣

Michael Keaton back as Batman one last time is epic.
I like that they're promoting the source material at the end there. Superhero movies adaptations nowadays are more loose adaptations instead of direct ones, be they Marvel or DC. So it's nice that they're promoting and giving credit to the story the movie is based on. It's been a long argument of mine that one of the reasons mainstream comic book sales are stagnating is that they're simply not promoting it well enough despite the popularity of the characters in other forms of media.

They’ve always been loose adaptations. Dark Phoenix saga, the coming of Galactus, the Alien Costume with Spider-Man, No Man’s Land in TDKR, Days or Future Past, these were all loose adaptations.

That manor was DEFINITELY the 89 Manor, but run down. My theory is Keaton's like a hermit because there is a TV spot where you see the back of someone with very long stringy hair opening up a batsuit vault and I presume it's Keaton. That's also the hand we see with the bruises looking at the family picture on the wall, before Barry.
He's probably alcoholic Wayne father.

The flash ring gave me LEGION vibes. It almost looks like the legion ring in Smallville!
So I think the new Barry is going to turn against our Barry when he tries to go back in time for the 2nd time to let his mom die. Because this new flash has always been with his mom so he's not gonna want our Barry to go back in time and reset the timeline. Therefore creating a conflict between flashes and the new flash will probably be the final fight after Zod.
Edit: I also feel like this other Barry will fail to stop our Barry and forever hate him for causing his mom to die and therefore escape his reality and follow our Barry to snyderverse reality and kill our Barry's mother because our Barry let alternate Barry's mother die. Which is basically creating the loop in time so our Barry is basically the reason his mother died in the first place. Which came first the chicken or the egg situation. Essentially he creates his own reverse flash that has an intense hatred for our Barry and tries to ruin his life by killing our Barry's mother like Thawn does in the comics. But instead of it being Thawn its the alternate Barry.
The other flash then becomes reverse flash you think?
@@shahnawazalikhan5005 I think so. It kinda makes sense and they're hinting at it with him already wearing the yellow and brown color scheme for his clothes. He's also not going to want our Barry to mess with the timeline because he's not going to want to lose his mother so there's definitely going to be some kind of conflict. And if our Barry succeeds and let's his mother die then the other Barry is going to be devastated and hate our Barry. That sounds like a recipe for a villain to me lol.

@@omarvazquez7241 yea I feel like thats whats gonna happen. You can see the two flashes fighting in the desert scene. I feel like Zod is gonna be playing a mastermind role as well, pushing him into becoming Reverse Flash and thats where Batman and Supergirl come in to help fight against him
The reset would mean the main timeline barry would get his own reverse flash.. the FP barry doesn't have powers, the main timeline barry makes him have powers in the FP timelime to fight the invasion off that's what it seems ...
The trailer looks dope. I think that the duplicate Barry Allen is Eobard Thawne who is disguised as Barry(I don't think the ring is Barry's, just my theory). I can't imagine Flashpoint without Reverse Flash.
That ring was made by Ben's Batman which has already been confirmed. I forgot where but it came out a long time ago that Ben's Batman is essentially his mentor and friend and made him the ring and the new suit he's wearing in this trailer. As for the Thawn theory you have, I think our Barry will create his own reverse flash by giving his other self powers as u can see in the trailer and by the end of the movie when he tries to go back in time to let his mother die it'll create a conflict because the newly powered up Barry from the other reality won't want his mom to die and they'll end up coming to blows because of that. Our Barry will succeed and let his mom die which will enrage the newly powered Barry and the newly powered Barry will escape his timeline and with all his hatred of our Barry he'll become the Reverse flash of our Barry's timeline.
There's a comic that ties into the movie that shows batfleck giving Barry that ring.

It's been weird for everyone from WB and DC even James Gunn promoting this film, but after this trailer, I get now why. I'm hyped and interested how this film will change the timeline in the DCU. Even with Blue Beetle got me interested now.

Wild theory about the villain, what if it's the alternate Barry but is really Eobard Thawne. Probably a bit outlandish, but it is a Flashpoint-ish story after all and Thawne HAS had an operation in the comics to look like Barry.

As far as the potential of Val Kilmer: What i would do is acknowledge his personal reality as part of his Batman. This has been happening more in the film and television industry, Black Panther a recent example.
Michael Shannon actually came back for this movie so that means we're gonna be seeing plenty of new Zod footage. and it seems like he's gonna be the villain they're all fighting at the end of the trailer.

Since this movie going to reset the DCU , maybe and just maybe James Gunn had some inside directions on how they're gonna execute this movie...
Theory I have read is Batfleck will appear in first part of the movie & something will happen to push Barry over to going back time and lead up to convo with Batfleck Bruce. He willl go back in time & when he returns he screwed up the timeline leading to Flashpoint
