CA Glues (Cyanoacrylate) are used for a wide variety of projects and will adhere to many different materials. The Insta-Bond CA glue is a premium adhesive available in 3 different viscosities (Thin, Medium, and Thick). The Thin Insta-Bond will soak into the material you are working with (especially when doing inlay work) and stabilize the material around the glue. The Insta-Bond Medium will allow you to glue 2 things together and form an incredibly strong bond. The Insta-Bond Thick if very gel-like and will allow you to fill voids and cracks. Each of these can be used with a CA accelerator for an almost instant bond.

Thanks for the video. I purchased this system from Treeline about a year ago. I have been very pleased with it. But I didn’t realize you only have to put the glue one side and the accelerator on the other side. I’m not really very good at reading instructions 😮. My bad. Thanks again for the information.

Hi Jim. I am sure the way you are doing it is working just fine! There are a few different ways to use the CA glue. For many years I would put down the glue and then spray the accelerator around the edges of the joint. That can certainly work. The method of spraying the opposite side might have a little cleaner look.
