- BMW 335D with three turbos, powered by a Diesel Motor, at Piedmont Dragway at the Outlaw Diesel event, running in two classes against a bunch of diesel trucks
I love the driving it home 30mpg. I have a deleted 2011. Awesome cars

Cannot believe how clean that runs except on initial spool up.
Because most diesel truck tunes are stupid and waste fuel. Black smoke is unburnt fuel therefore never needed. That rolling coal shit is tacky and tasteless and it gives diesels a bad name
@@1v1qsns it does have genuine uses. On big HP builds, the extra fuel does lower egt so that's why it's done. But as gale banks has proven, you can go 1000hp+ with little to no smoke.

@@DragRacingandCarStuff It is. I've actually only been there one time. Lol. I went for the first time back in October 2020. I'd like to go back sometime with my 98 cobra and make some passes, that is after I get a new clutch installed. My stock one is a little worn out.

Trick to staging these trucks is to produce as much black smoke as possible from burnout to launch. Stay on that throttle!

E70 x5 yes. F15 x5 has N57 Diesel engine

Zf 6hp28....there are lots of transmission upgrades but I think santjer's transmission is bone stock.

advanced or retarded injection timing plays a big role in how the fuel is going to burn essentially

yes another turbo added to the 35d engine,
M57tu2 engine with 2 original bone stock turbos but with an aftermarket 3rd turbo added
