As a shayar I feel bad about what he said, because shayari is way ahead then anything today. Shakespeare, T.S Eliot these guys used to portray their feelings through stanzas and sonnet. Nevertheless in shayari it's just two line(misra) describing so much that we even do not understand sometimes.

Usually I enjoy every standup comedy and don't get offended. Being a Muslim I enjoyed that jokes for Muslims but but you said shayari as an art form is very overrated so I would like to ask you the meaning of this two sher of Ghalib, It's my challenge

It was a very senseless video Anas and I am surprised you and other people watching this consider this as comedy. This was the first video of u that I watched and seriously this was disappointing. And comparing Urdu and Urdu shayari with senseless songs and music videos is truly a rubbish concept. You are clearly degrading Urdu,Urdu shayari which is our identity, which is our tehzeeb. It's something precious we inherit. And through this you are disrespecting all the big shayars and shayaras of all times who brought commendable revolutions through their writings. I would advice you to not make urdu and our culture a part of your cheap comedy. Sad to see that instead of acknowleding and appreciating your own culture,you are making fun of it. Clearly it's very unfortunate that you consider making fun of such a great aspect of literature and culture, comedy. Sabko impress krne ke chkkr ne apna aur apno Ka mazaak banana chhod do.
