Basically all the cringe and cheap content including pranks, lip syncing and performing to 15 second songs, reels, making cheap jokes and double meaning content found its way to Instagram which destroyed it's quality. Earlier Instagram was a place where only sophisticated people uploaded content but now it's like a roadside dhaba. Many content creators who call themselves comedians suddenly found fame in 2020 because they found their target demographic of equally cringe people who enjoy rubbish content. Marketing agencies and digital content companies promoted those useless content creators and this is how the younger generation further lowered their standards by accepting them as role models.
