I'm grateful that you didn't rank the Jaguar below the 5200. Unlike the 5200's controller, the Jaguar's space control panel-looking controller is at least responsive and lacks any major defects. I recently purchased a Jaguar a few weeks ago, and I still don't regret the purchase one bit. I've been wanting to get one for the past 14 years.
Nice list! I personally would have had the Jag/Jag cd a little higher due to the fames beibg more playable and fun that some of the others. The same with the Vcs. The 5200 truly belongs at the bottom. It is just horrible because of that controller. Fun list anyway!
First games console we owned was a VCS. Loved playing Ms Pac-Man, Joust Moon Patrol and Centipede on it! We got a 2600 when the VCS packed in. I think my brother still has the 2600 in his loft somewhere. Might need to get him to look after watching this video 🥰
I honestly had no idea that Atari released a console in 2021. I remember hearing rumors that they were planning on releasing a console but I thought like nothing came of it.
If I'm going strictly on how much the system was used, the Lynx would be my #1, but I'm gonna put the 2600 there, as that system was Atari. And while it had it's share of duds, the overall library is amazing especially for the time, and we still see homebrews that take what we thought was possible to the next level(Pac-Man 4k/8k, Donkey Kong Arcade, Elevator Agent, etc.). I could swap my 3 & 4, and I could probably do the same for 5 & 6 as well. The 7800 had some quality titles, but the overall library is just so small. The Jaguar had more titles, but a similar amount of decent ones, and why I could swap these two. As for the 5200, I only came to really know that system by emulation, so those shit controllers were never an issue for me, but I agree that based on it's original time, it was last. Haven't had any time with the VCS 2021, but it runs the "recharged" games and has decent emulation, so I could put it in front of the 5200 for those reasons as well. 1. 2600 2. Lynx 3. 7800 4. @@TerryGrancho I think more to give context. Since the "holes" in the Atari console line was because of these computer, and the Atari habit of either pushing consoles or computers may be the reason both ranges ultimately failed?

2600 is by far the best Atari console it was the NES before the NES.

7800 is really saved by backwards compatibility. Otherwise, on its own merits, it should be behind the Lynx and possibly even the Jaguar

VCS isn't bad, but they do need to give us better games though and I mean gameplay and story, not graphics.
