This game was massively underrated. Sure it was repetitive, but the combat felt great imo! It’s the closest thing we have to a recent Punisher video game!
@@sybermachine1116 well, that’s your opinion and i respect it even though i don’t agree with you. But to me, this game isn’t the worst thing i’ve ever played in my entire life. Mafia II is my favorite of the Mafia series, but i still enjoyed Mafia III for its atmosphere and brutal combat.

One of the reasons why this game was hated is because it was pretty different compared to Mafia 1 and 2 the same way Splinter Cell Conviction is different compared to the older ones, it was of course very fun but they changed a lot of the recipe and not everyone liked it.
I remember when this game first came out my grandad bought me it and said "looks a little violent" to which I replied "no it's a business game" thinking I'd convinced him and was the smartest 13yr old out...he definitely wasn't convinced.
In my opinion this is one of the best games to play. Over the top, Uber dramatic violence nonstop which is exactly what you want to see from a badass character. Yeah it’s repetitive but it’s fun to feel so unstoppable. Great environment design too
The fact that the game has stealth interrogations where you can pull them around a corner, run up push them down on their knees and restraining them, or getting in their car with them while they are trying to escape and questioning them in their own car. Then you get to either kill or spare people but honestly sparing people is still pretty brutal lol

Man when i play this game in my ps5, the world and the vehicle looks like ps1 with broken shaders and lighting, how did you make the graphic of this game great???
All this game needed was some activities, minigames and interaction. some pool in the bars that have it, maybe a gun range, things like that, they had the right Idea with the game races would have been dope to have the possibility to drink and eat as in mafia II, getting gas, sleeping, a gun store, things that make you actually traverse and interact with the game world, brings more variety The problem was not the grind, the problem was that the grind was the only thing that was in there, all work and no play makes jack a dull boy, having some other things to do would have improved the rythm of the game, that's not to say, I din't enjoy the shit out of killing and stomping heads, I just understand why people hate on it
I got all 3 mafia games hella cheap, like 20 dollars for all 3 definitive editions plus mafia 2 classic edition for some odd reason, which is actually a sale going on right now on steam, I enjoyed the first 2 games, I played 1 twice, I loved it so much, I played 2 once, it was less of a definitive edition but I still liked it as much as the first, I just never got around to playing it again, but 3 was so unbearably boring after the first few missions I just stopped playing 3 hours in and haven’t touched it until recently
It had a lot of repetitiveness and I hate the fact you can’t replay missions but I loved playing this game, the combat was the best part of the game next to the story and the ways Lincoln would kill the bosses in cutscenes. This was my first game in the series so I see it different from most of the people that played it.
I know, this is a game that criminally needed unlimited rackets after you completed it and the fact that there is no new game plus either is terrible. After you complete the game, you just gotta replay it again.
I love the high octane action in this 🔥No pun intended with all the gasoline explosions🔥, but the technical bugs, loose character animations, and repetitive nature of the game drag it down for me🐒
Years later this game still sucks. Id say this is definitely when AAA developers began rushing the production of games just so the could release around the holiday season. Id gladly wait 5+ years for a solid game rather than a rushed, glitchy, waste of time. This game had potential if they had given it more time and love.

Sure, the graphics are lackluster, the missions can get repetitive, and the story might not be the most inspiring, but there's just something about playing as Lincoln Clay and taking out mobsters that keeps me hooked. And let's not forget the joy of cruising around in the game's vintage vehicles, which adds to the overall experience. All in all, despite its imperfections, Mafia 3 has a certain charm that keeps me coming back time and time again.
