Thank you Sir for explaining the different types of MCB, very recently I have installed C32 in my residence, initially it was B32, as we generally all use AC, Refrigerator, small kind of cleaning motor, water heater etc. Initially I was confused about this but now it's clear to me that my decision is correct. 😊

Sir as inverter ACs have complex VFD and inverters having lot of complex semiconductor at the same time it’s running a high load compressor should we consider using “Z CURVE” MCB of the rated amp requirement as the compressor and all fan moters in inv AC are soft started hence little or no surge current.

Sir, I have a doubt. That if a welding machine is connected to type B MCB, The MCB trips as soon as we start the welding work. So, here in this case, the MCB has tripped due to overload current or due to the thermal trip mechanism, then how does a electro-magnetic trip comes into picture as the condition of short-circuit does not exist. Will the magnetic trip mechanism play any role, if the condition of short circuit does not exist but the OVERLOAD CURRENT FALLS WITHIN THE MAGNETIC TRIP RANGE OF THE THAT PARTICULAR TYPE OF MCB. And WHY?? BIT CONFUSED IN THIS POINT. PLEASE CLARIFY GURUJI. TRIPPING OF THE TYPE B MCB IN CASE OF WEILDING WORKS HAPPENS DUE TO OVERCURRENT OR THE SHORT CIRCUIT CURRENT.?

10 amp uski continuous load current capacity hai. trip current nahi. Trip current 11 amp sey jyada hai. Detail mey janney key liye mera video MCB working in hindi dekho.

Many commercial equipment still will have a rectifier and a capacitor to convert AC into DC. So surge current will come.

Welding machine (old transformer type) has frequent short circuit condition during welding process.
