    You can clearly see the mom has been holding a grudge on her from when she went to jail. Her daughter told her she was RAPED multiple times and she didn’t even flinch. The child is a direct reflection of the parent

      Let me say what I’ve seen from young family members. Some will say they were raped to shut you down. And it works. I had to stop my niece from using that tactic because it is extremely harmful. And in her case, she falsely blamed young man we knew. There are real victims out there, and then there are the others.

    I could see the break through in both of them. You can tell the daughter just wants to be heard, she yells, screams and tries to rush and talk because nobody listens and the only way to express those suppressed feelings is by screaming or lashing out. Her mom really does love her, they both just have a lot of unlearning to do and I’m praying that God continues to reconcile their relationship ❤

      I don't like this daughter. I truly don't. She wants her mother to excuse her bad behavior and her mother is holding her accountable for it. She's lucky that she has someone who cares enough to do that. The daughter is a piece of work! If I were the mother, I'd tell her to go and live her own life and to not come back until she grows up! What a RUDE girl!

      @@b.u.dmusic9424 I respect your opinion but you don’t know either of their stories in depth to pass judgement, especially from a small segment of a conversation. Children aren’t perfect and parents aren’t either. To not know your child was raped says a lot about their relationship as a whole. Again, we don’t know their story only what they chose to share for a few minutes. They both have a lot of unlearning to do, this issue isn’t one sided-it’s both.

    • @whorundaworld
      @whorundaworld ปีที่แล้ว +10

      @b.u.dmusic9424 I agree with you. These are circumstances the daughter created on her own. If her mom is around to help her, then she should close her mouth and listen. If she wants her mom to listen, then yelling at her, won't work. It hadn't worked for anyone in the past. She is yelling because she thinks that justifies her actions but it doesn't. She is an entitled daughter who needs to realize her mom don't have to do those things. She does them because she cares and she is a real mom. Her daughter has to calm down & learn to listen. Even when the mom asked her a question (Do you think it will be hard to get custody of him) She chose attitude, instead of answering honestly because answering honestly will require her to take ownership in WHAT SHE CREATED.... I pray these queens find healing and repair their love. It's clear thr love is there......❤❤ Lord keep this family together.

      My best advice my father told me... when we hear loud voices people want to cover their ears.
      When whisper people lean in to hear you.
      I have used silence as my way through many uncomfortable situations as when I do loud it makes people run.
      Whisper and see who really wants to hear you .... your momma loves you as you are a reflection of herself.
      Accountability is something that will heal you.

    I think the daughter is upset because her mother looks at her like a bad person. Like she’s always up to no good and she’s ruining her life. As if she’s a criminal and her mom has to keep her locked up at home. That whatever she does her mom will not be proud and will always have something negative to say and she’s tired of it. All the anger has bottled up. All her daughter wants is to see what she sees and that she’s trying to better herself. Moms want the better for their kids and are hard on them to be better and excel in everything. But you have to keep in mind that kids aren’t robots. They have feelings and emotions.

    I think the mom regrets how she raised her and has to face it every time her daughter does something she deems no longer acceptable. Her problem is that she isn’t taking accountability for the part she played in it and instead is trying to ignore it and force new behaviors. This is probably why she shuts her down in conversation because those hard conversations forces her to look in the mirror. Her judgement of her daughter is really her judgement of herself, whether it’s the old her, new her or somewhere in between. She would be better off acknowledging that she taught her what she thought was right at the time and that she now realizes there is a better way. She should be patient w/ her daughter and help her integrate into this new way of living instead of crucifying her for being what she taught her to be. Our community has to learn how to hold ourselves accountable past, present and future rather than sweeping things under the rug and pretending it doesn’t exist. This will never be effective. & I believe she means well for sure. Our children NEED us to be the accountable and apologetic adults our parents didn’t know how or refused to be.
    These children are a reflection of how they are raised and we cannot forget that. Whether it’s how they are actively raised or the lack thereof. To hold them accountable is to hold ourselves accountable.

Y’all wanna chuck everything up to protection to use as an excuse to not have to look at your terrible behavior that’s severely affecting your children. “I might make you feel like trash for doing things I taught you but it’s ok because I’m trying to PROTECT you.” 🙄 It’s ok if you want better but TEACH THEM! It’s weird that everyone keep saying the daughter was doing too much. Or must be on some type of substance or have a disorder.. when all she’s doing is expressing herself. I’ve use to have this same type of rage and anger and would lash out because I had soo much hurt bottled in and felt like no one understood me or listened. And it’s like the more someone would try to downplay my pain or tell me I was wrong whenever I expressed myself I would get angrier. I 10000% understand where she’s coming from. It’s like you’re really not trying to be disrespectful it’s just you get tired of hurting and just want to finally be heard especially if you keep explaining your feelings and keep getting them blown off. It’s literally a level of hurt that’s hard to express..Thank God I found my way and released all my hurt and no longer lash out or have anger. I feel for her and hope she finds her way.❤

    I think when you homeschool you have to do things that still socialize your kids and allow them some freedom to make normal teen mistakes. We also have to know if our kids have a leader or follower type personality and parent them accordingly. It’s not easy to create that balance so your kids turn out to be well rounded adults. I have 4 kids and 2 are adults. They took completely different paths once they were grown. It’s just so hard especially when you’re trying to maintain a good respectful relationship with grown children.
    I will also say keep the government OUT of your life! Don’t threaten it either.

    I’m 31 in tears watching this clip. I wish i could hug her. This is so trigging watching known you’re not being heard all because of an image of what others think. Loving your child unconditionally comes with no strings attached. Meaning good, bad, ugly, embarrassing, emotional etc etc etc. Love them through it all once a child feels safe, loved and heard the behavior will change. We seek attention in the only way we know how and y’all call it (misbehaving). Parents being a young child or teenager is just as hard when trying to figure out life and still enjoy your youth so please have some grace on our babies. And Children have some grace for our parents. We know parents mean well and sometimes we need to step out of “that parent role” and talk to your child as if you’re a child or their friend and help come up with a solution. All voices deserve to be heard.
    If you’re reading this I love you so much I’m sending love, positivity and healing your way 🤞🏽💚

    I'm going to repost a comment I left under someone else's because some of these comments missed the point. This isn't meant to be hateful!
    The problem is that too many people are seeing the daughter's pain as genuine anger and not hurt. It's something you wouldn't understand unless you have been in or closely witnessed something similar.
    I cried with the daughter. There's a lot of generational trauma in the black community with parents and children, and sadly, it often doesn't get talked about. Neither mom nor daughter is "the bad guy." Mom is doing what she knows and what her mom probably did, and her actions have molded and hurt her daughter, who has big reactions because she feels unseen/unheard.
    I hope they can mend their relationship. Either way, it's not our place to judge these people, but rather to learn from these videos and apply what we learned to our own lives. Wishing you all a peaceful week. ✌🏾 ❤

Making others miserable is gratifying for them. I hope you can find peace. its a pattern in many mother/daughter relationships. most mothers demand their daughters are always soft and polite, the second they show any other emotion its always taken as 'disrespect'. this mother is just COLD. you just heard your daughter got assaulted and you make it about yourself...shes more concerned about the cameras and less about her daughter

    I shed heavy tears watching this because I feel that girl so much, I’m not a mom yet but I feel her because it’s the same for me too with my mother, when you just want to speak but you feel like you’re a mute in the darkness, you feel like how much u could shout no one can hear you…. That made me feel good to see them heal together ❤ I’m very happy for them

    This was like watching my parents and I relationship, but with a different story. Even in adulthood. Unfortunately, I had to disconnect from them, even communication. I had to choose me. I'm glad the mom and daughter are able to work things out. I wish the best for them. 💜

    Poor baby the daughter is hurting and needs someone to talk too but she feels like she can’t bc her mom is judgmental and cuts her off so now she fells like she has to rush and scream when she talks in order to be heard.

  • @ambam656
    @ambam656 ปีที่แล้ว +67

    I weirdly believe both of them. A lot of shit it’s just a matter of perspective. I can tell the mom is trying to be and do good but I think the daughters feelings are valid…she acts the way exactly she raised and her mom hates that and is very judgmental of her. I’m really feeling the daughter. Praying for a lot of healing for them

    • @auntkera
      @auntkera ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Yes I think the mom regrets how she raised her and has to face it every time her daughter does something she deems no longer acceptable. Her problem is that she isn’t taking accountability for the part she played in it and instead is trying to ignore it and force new behaviors. This is probably why she shuts her down in conversation because those hard conversations forces her to look in the mirror.
