I am a freelance designer for Sizzix, so all Sizzix products will have been sent to me free of charge as part of my design work. All other products have been purchased by myself unless stated otherwise. I only use products I genuinely love, and wouldn't recommend anything I don't personally use. My videos are not sponsored or paid for, I share ideas and tutorials because I enjoy doing so.

I am happy you demonstrated this new tool. I am very interested in getting one but was not sure how it worked. I like it a lot!

Thank you so much for your detailed tutorial. I have just received mine, so I am extremely grateful to watch your video and have a refresher on how it all works. I did watch Pete on C&C's which encouraged me to buy one. I've just bought the Lisa Horton stencil tools, but having to wait until stock comes in for the stencil adaptor. Once again, thank you for sharing x😃

Thanks for the detailed explanation Sharon, very helpful. Having watched your comparison video the other day (I already have the Lisa Horton tool) I knew I wanted the Sizzix one too! I foolishly tried to tell myself that I don’t need it, but when I saw Pete bring it to C & C last night, I had to have it. Now I’ve watched all his demos and your user guide I think I’ll be ready to go. You’re a bad influence 😂😂😂❤️

Hello! I’ve just received mine in the mail today, and I am even more excited to use it after watching your tutorial. You’ve explained everything so well, that for a rarity, I really don’t have any questions as of yet. I may have some after playing with it, but I do feel you were ever so thorough.
I showed my husband and daughter not too long ago and exclaimed, “Look! My birthday pressie has finally arrived!” I received two smiles and one with an eye roll. 🙃. My birthday was in August. When I finally decided what I had wanted, they were already out of stock. I can’t tell you how quickly I was pressing buttons when I received an email letting me know they had more in just a few days ago.
I do have two unrelated questions. The first being, in some of your comments it had been mentioned this had been on C&C with Pete. Could you please tell me what the C&C stands for and who Pete is?
My second question is more personal, and I do apologize, but my curiosity has gotten the best of me. Could you please tell me the area of England you’re from with your British accent? I’m asking because my Mum was British, she had married an American fella and moved to the states. However, there were parts of my life when I did live there and went to school. The first part, my Mum, older brother and I lived with our Grandparents in Avebury. After awhile, my Mum took my brother and I to live in Salisbury. This had been when my Dad had been stationed in a not so family friendly area, and that’s why we lived there. I had been six and seven years old at that time.
The second time I lived there, I went to study and take my O levels and one CSE. I lived with my Grandparents a good enough ways out of
Churchdown and in between Cheltenham and Gloucester.
Your accent seemed familiar to me, and I don’t know if it’s just because it is English, or if I had lived in one of the areas where you do. I know there is a wide range of English accents, and my Gran used to tell me one only had to drive twenty minutes till you found another one. I’m not sure how true that is, but I would guess there is a bit of truth to it.
Well, I’ve rattled on long enough, and I had only meant to thank you for your help in figuring everything out. I guess I’m just a bit long-winded mixed with a bit of nostalgia of more than thirty years ago. So thank you for this wonderful video, and I’m subscribing to get a notification when you have more.
I hope you are blessed with a fun and amazing crafty day. 💐

Hi, I'm glad you found the video helpful. In answer to your questions, C&C is Create and Craft TV - it's a shopping TV channel here in the UK that sells craft supplies, and Pete (Hughes) and I both demonstrate Sizzix products on there. They have a TH-cam channel so you could look that up and see some of the shows if you like. I'm from Buckinghamshire, which is just North West of London (about 30 miles). I grew up in a place called Amersham. It's a different accent to Cheltenham/Gloucester but not vastly different as both would be classed as Southern. I currently live just south of Birmingham, and that's a very different accent altogether! Happy crafting x

Thanks for your video. My question is about the universal adapter. I bought the tool several weeks ago and last week was able to break it in. Everything worked well until I got to a non-Sizzix layered stencil. I used the universal adapter for the 4 stencils that went together to create to total picture. I found it very difficult to get everything to line up properly. I put the adapter at the top of each stencil, but it never seemed to line up properly. I finally used the little side boxes and lined them up. Do you know how to get the adapter to work for non-Sizzix stencils? If I can't use it for non-Sizzix stencils, I'm not sure I want to keep it. Thanks for any advice! Kim

I use the grid on my glass mat to make sure I’m putting mine in the same place on each stencil.

I just got this tool and was wondering if there is a purpose to the raised grid on the cover other than aligning the paper?

You can use it to make sure your stamps are straight.

Does the grid go on the outside? I put on the inside and my stamps wouldn't stay on.

    • @sharoncurtis
      @sharoncurtis  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

Yes on the outside, so your stamps have the smooth surface to cling to.
