I agree with some of the others. The best analysis of her to date. But you not only helped me understand her but some aspects of myself. I don’t like competing with other women nor have I ever and never will be with someone who has a significant other. The part about losing herself in someone else and then wanting to take it back, definitely resonated. I believe I am currently going this atm. Your video has helped me out a lot to realize what is going on and I believe it will be a help to me in this situation and others as I go through life. Very on point!!! Hearing your chart for the first time, at first glance I thought Raquel, over the years, would be an 8 or 7 but when you said she was a 9 that seems exactly who she is "now." It has become quite clear, The worst thing Raquel ever said, in my opinion, was she was just "curious" about what it would be like to sleep with her friend...she certainly never cared about how her friend/friends would feel regarding her sleeping with all of their guys and ripping their worlds apart to satisfy her mere curiosity. I think all of her conquering of "taken" men made her feel like she had finally won that proverbial crown that continues to elude her in the pageant world. With each passing episode the reasons she wasn't very successful in winning pageants has become crystal clear. Those pageant crowns would most likely not fit her overinflated head anyway...

It's always hard when you hear analysis's of your own type and that apply to you!!!
I think you need to watch the whole season, and have some more information, and not just the reunion. Rachel was anything BUT a peacemaker. She literally kissed Schwartz, a recent divorcee who came out of a 12 year relationship with Katie (her cast mate and also friend) because Katie asked her privately not to make out with him because it would hit too close to home if he hooked up with people in their friend group. These people have been friends and hanging out for over five years. WHILE the couple was married. The couple still had several assets together, their home, their finances, their businesses…. so they had to deal with each other frequently. And Katie asked Schwartz: hey, you can date other people, and sleep with other people. But can we please keep this friend group off bounds, because it will just get messy, it will be used as a storyline for Bravo, and it will really cut deep as we’re trying to shift from being a former couple to divorced. Schwartz agreed. Katie also mentioned it in a girls dinner to Rachel. Rachel agreed and said she wouldn’t do it. That very same evening, she got drunk and asked Schwartz if he wanted to make out. He said no. Cut to a month later, Katie was uninvited from a close friend (Scheana) wedding because of several reasons, but she had already booked a hotel room at the resort months before. So she decided to go with another friend to celebrate a birthday. Meanwhile half the resort was booked out for Schaena’s wedding. Katie was asked to give up her room, which she considered, but she was being asked quite rudely (she was asked name your price because I need your room, so she defiantly kept the room, and decided to make a girls trip out of it). Part of the wedding party included Rachel, and Schwartz. So unfortunately for Katie; while she was trying to have dinner or do her own thing, the wedding festivities were happening all around her. So Rachel has admitted that she was sleeping with Sandoval during this wedding (the Mexico trip) from the first day. On the third day of the trip, there was a white party by the pool. Katie, uninvited, was having dinner at the poolside restaurant. Obviously a Bravo orchestrated scene because the filming was trying to frame Katie as the outsider who wished they could be at the party, while everyone was celebrating, dancing and having a good time. So we know now, Rachel was already effing Sandoval on this trip. But she decides, to make out with Schwartz, in the pool, in front of ALL the wedding guests, and Katie. The Bravo cameras captures them also going to a secluded spot, where Rachel says “I don’t even like you, but because Katie made such a thing that I couldn’t kiss you? It’s been stuck in my head ever since. And then I wanted to do it. The forbidden fruit.”
Mind you, BOTH Schwartz and Rachel at this point know she is sleeping with Sandoval. So at the party everyone thinks they have a budding romance, and is like “Awww, they have a crush on each other!” And yet the two of them know, they are just doing it to spite Katie. Since she said they can’t, they want to defy her.
Does that sound like a PEACEMAKER to you? I think you got it all wrong. There was something very sinister and spiteful about her actions. And when you look back on the season, seeing the things she did in the context of an affair, makes you realize, she’s really a cold, vengeful, calculating, and sadistic person. She got a thrill out of flaunting the relationship with subtle hints. She got a thrill from giving Ariana relationship advice, knowing she was effing her man. She got a thrill out of upsetting Katie by pretending to have a crush on Schwartz, knowing she was effing his best friend. She is not a peacemaker at all.
I understand what you’re saying, but if by this point she was already merging with Sandoval, all of those traits and characteristics sound exactly like the person he really is, and how he had functioned behind the scenes for years. So maybe their merging is a big motivator behind this current personality, I’m sure they were vibing on each other prior to any of their bs timelines they can’t get straight. Especially the adoption of Katie as an enemy, as she had been of Sandoval forever
The name Peacemaker is just a nickname, its more about the sexual instinct mixed with her merging with her partners and being competitive with the other girls.

Great analysis! I'm a Type 4 sexual subtype but the tendency to merge was a big part of my personality earlier in my life when I was more codependent. I never heard of competition as part of the sexual subtype but it does make some things about my history make more sense. 🤣

I started typing a thought below and it turned into word-vomit so clearly I need to journal or something, but I’m keeping it anyway…
I’m interested in understanding motivation (and how that helps in maintaining peaceful relationships, which is important to me). I also hate having my intentions misunderstood which seems to happen a lot with a chaotic family, which is so odd to me because my intentions are usually pretty pure, and because I want to understand and be understood so that relationships are balanced and peaceful going forward. I would also love to understand my own type so I can know what to watch out for or work on.
I feel like one of those “this entire planet is grey” people while people closest to me are often black and white. I mean, I have a moral compass and I believe in good and bad, but life and people? They are Not simple. No person is just one thing or another, just good or bad. Perception, in my opinion, is a big part of what makes this place grey. (Life experience is different for us all. Culture, human nature, how we were nurtured, what we were exposed to, key moments or choices that shaped us, regerts heh, fears, ideals and defining characteristics… it makes for some very different personality types. Psychology is as fascinating as it is limited.) When people believe they’re right whether they are or not, and it goes against what another right-fighter believes, there is going to be conflict.
I’m pretty perceptive when it comes to how someone is feeling, and it gets emotionally exhausting really, really fast. I have to make myself really embrace alone time and creativity and meditation. Plus I’m a caretaker in a home where people are unwell, myself included. Makes for a small but wild ride of a life.
Sorry for over sharing, I just kind of love others who get how very different people are and how that can drive us differently. I feel like once I began to understand that on a deeper level my mind opened up.

You are literally describing borderline personality disorder. I have no knowledge about your number system, but based on the diagnostic manual in psychology, it's a match! Borderline females are the absolute hardest to treat because they are constantly shifting to "fit" the situation.
BPD can mimic the sexual instinct and vice versa! I'm not a psychologist so I don't feel comfortable discussing that with her
Totally! I completely agree that she has Borderline personality disorder. She seems very lost and unfocused and shifts her personality based on her environment.

3:50 Interested to hear more, because I’m wondering if you had to research Reddit just to get an idea of others’ perception of Raquel rather than reading her body language from old footage or if you agree with these Redditers. (I mean, I tend to.) Which would be tough because apparently she scripted and memorized lines which would only confirm the slowness or emptiness people talk about. I always saw insecurity and thirst as well as an oddness because she could never react in the moment. She always had a shaky voice when she got nervous which she admitted was the case, and her voice shook a lot over the years. Like I couldn’t identify the cause of the nerves quite a lot. I think her affect was off during the recorded portion at the end of the reunion because she took an anti anxiety med. it didn’t seem to be her baseline as far as this pedestrian can tell. She may have during the reunion, but I didn’t get such a specific, certain sorta perception as I did when she confessed all that she could force herself to at the end.
I think she may share more truths to Andy another time if she gets away from Sandy. I just wish she’d stop going after other peoples’ lives because she’s a little “curious”. I find That thinking curious. I think she’s only on the show to see if it fits her. She really doesn’t know who she is.

I’d love to understand more regarding how she doesn’t like/want conflict when she slept with one of her best friend’s life partner. Seems to me, she seeks attention, by any means necessary, even when that means conflict.
she’s not very good at conflict imo; she seems to freeze and lose all her thoughts when conflict arises.
It is why it was hidden, she didn't want conflict.
And that's what I saw in her I didn't like her she wasn't openly competitive but the clothes she wore and the thing she did 6 male attention. It's interesting to always go back and rewatch something again and then again a few months later. But it's interesting the later episodes in season 9 I start noticing her hanging next to Tom Moore

I’d love see one of these on Lala. When she first came on, I didn’t care for her at all. Now I find her to interesting in that she seems to be trying to give sage advice based on her experiences. Rachel, on the other hand, I went from thinking she’s trying to be helpful as a means to get attention to whatever it takes to keep all eyes on her.
