Excellent Video. Just purchased. 5TB hard-drive to store drone photo & video and had some initial trouble with the "toolkit app" they pre-installed on the device. This was much easier and I feel much more confident in the process. Thank you

im stuck at 6:28. I did all of the settings you did at that part of the erase and I'm stuck at "starting secure erase" for 5 mins now. Didn't do anything when yours finished instantly. this is a brand new external hard drive. not sure what to do

So I just got the external hard drive and it doesn’t have a connector, what connector do I need to connect it to my iMac? Or how do I actually connect the device to my iMac? Is it wireless or do I need an adaptor?
what do you mean it doesnt have a connector? did it not come with a cable and a power cable also
I followed everything step by step and it still won't let me drag and drop. Every time I try to drag and drop a symbol shows up that essential represents that, that function is prohibited. I'm so confused.

yes make sure you follow the video so you don’t get it locked. so don’t choose master boot record
