Ok I have driven the car! This car is awesome! Very realistic it feels like a street car with little downforce and small tires. Which it does, and it is heavy! Perfect training car to get faster! This car rewards you for driving it how it wants to be driven and its smaller tire grip level. And it’s a short wheel base car, not many of these on iRacing! It’s no GT3 but much better than the aged Mustang FR500. PERFECT rookie/d car to grow and understand grip better in all other cars🎉
@@Road2racersExperience Agreed, I just wish there was an open set series so we could make it drive better and dial out some of the off throttle understeer.
Consider changing your driving style, depending on what car you’re driving. These are awesome little cars. They are heavy and they don’t have the best brakes but when you figure out how to drive them, it’s very rewarding.
This car is heavy and has a small tire, on the brakes you can’t overload the front tires by smashing them you need to lift and do a slower push to threshold, this will also increase your mid corner speed once you get it down. The car has a small tire and short wheel base so try to late apex everything, it’s a point and shoot momentum car.
You will grow and get faster in all other cars if you can drive this car well. That’s the thing the worse the car is the more technical you have to be to make it fast! Give it a chance and you will enjoy it! This is the first car in Iracing for me that the cars feels like a real car on track and not just an accurate simulator. I have a GT4 real racecar to compare real driving to
The lap times you got at Summit are very similar to what I got IRL in my OG M2. My car is full weight, no aero, so it seems this car is all about mechanical grip. th-cam.com/video/dNN95pByDMY/w-d-xo.html&si=HM6Z2o5nCVs6Hiv0
@justinkrizenesky it did originally when i tracked it stock. Going square 275 on the track wheels not only got rid of all of it, but was causing so much oversteer while trail braking on corner entry i stiffened up the dampers and the sway bar a bit on the front, and now the car is super balanced.
Thx for the early look. Hopefully ill get to try it at Oultan today.
@@skchalk You're very welcome, SK! I hope you enjoy it! (:
Holy understeer batman
@@karlsamson1765 It's unbelievable. I REALLY hope it's just me 😂

@@Road2racersExperience Yeah, it's exactly like a combo of the Mustang and the Solstice. That didn't really work for me though.

@Road2racersExperience Have you been around long enough to have driven the Solstice? That's always been the car I teach my students in.

Are the front tires made of plastic? Sheesh
@@warrenrohloff8095 I was thinking titanium, but that works too 😂 Thoroughly disappointed. Hopefully with setups it's better.
iRacing must have gotten audio from a car with some cooked brake pads. I wouldn't be surprised if something is wrong with the audio.
@@SprawlRacer Me either 😂 Or, they just don't like BMW anymore 😂
@justinkrizenesky if the car makes it to PCC or any other multi-class racing you'll definitely hear it coming.
@SprawlRacer Agreed! At least then it'd be open set, so I'd give it a try 😂
its so distracting hearing that damn break every time.... its so bad..... I hope something is just wrong with audio

@@niptuck170 Hmmm, that's very interesting, I will have to check that out! Thanks! Does it have crazy understeer bias IRL also?

@niptuck170 Very interesting, good to know! I assumed short wheelbase small car would have some oversteer, but it plowed the fronts off. Thanks!!!
