Bonaparte got the same ending as Toussaint l’ouverture whom he jailed at Fort de Joux in the Jura mountain.he was sent to a tropical island where he died alone away from family and friends.

Gabriel Petkov It was different times. WW2 involved machines unlike Napoleons war. Also Hitler conquer Napoleons home country France.
He took moscow, but due to the russians "scorched earth" tactics, it was abandoned then set ablaze in the dead of night by arsonists so that Napoleon amd his army would have nowhere to rest and would be forced to retreat.

How cool to learn so much about his last days, I have one of the death masks from 1866 that's clearly authentic and age appropriate. The yellow series they're called. I can't get a estimate as to value,

Napoleon was always on his phone he needed to be close to a charger 🔌 😂
He was not treated fairly as a head of State. Was he treated As a prisoner of war? No! Was he treated as a prisoner of the British- who would at least then be allowed to see his son, - no he was not!
The british afterwards recieved international backlash. Even the Russians, Prussians, and Austrians were furious at the british for treating their old enemy like shit. It shows that they respected napoleon, unlike the british who has no honor and just humiliates him every chance they got.

His father Charles died from stomach cancer at the age of 38, his grandfather Joseph died from stomach cancer at the age of 40, his eldest sister Elisa died from stomach cancer at the age of 43, his second sister Pauline died from stomach cancer at the age of 44, his second brother Lucien died from suspected stomach cancer at the age of 65, his youngest sister Caroline died from stomach cancer at the age of 56, four of his cousins died from stomach cancer and all Napoleon's symptoms were consistent with stomach cancer.
@@hujar5011 Presumably by "the longhouse" you mean Longwood House. This building was only intended as a temporary home for Napoleon. There was a much grander house being built and prepared for him at the time of his death called "New Longwood House" but he died just before it was completed. So why go to the trouble and expense of building this house which had to be prefabricated in Britain and then dismantled and shipped out to St Helena if he was being poisoned and they knew he would never live there? It doesn't make any sense. And you say "stomach cancer was a factor"...at the time he died stomach cancer was 100% fatal, there was no known cure for it in 1821 and in fact it could not even be diagnosed until after death.
