This has got to be the most organized, well scripted and detailed explanation on the 60X. Nice segue on epidemic sound too! Subbed!

Great video ! Please help : LS60D is 40% brighter. I am torn between the LS60D and the LS60x. This will be used in a sound studio, travel documentaries, and for music videos. Which one is the one to get for my needs ? Thank You !

Are your barn doors loose when you put them on?

Nice review. How noisy is the fan of the 60x at full brightness?

How long do two NPFs power the 60D light at full power?

I got roughly 3 hrs out of two High Capacity NPF's powering the Amaran 60d.

Actually, you can't run this light on NPF batteries at full power at all. I tried and it went out in like 4 seconds. And that was using the highest capacity NP-Fs. So the NP-F is kind of a waste. While I love the power of these, I'm not so sold on it yet. I think we might get a version 2 sooner then later.

I believe this is greatly dependent on the quality of your NPF batteries and their Amp rating. My IDX batteries run perfectly well on par with my vlocks.

I have had zero issues with running my LS 60x on two NPF batteries at maximum output. And I wouldn't hold my breath for a Mark II anytime soon since these launched late 2021. Aputure doesn't really do annual updates on their equipment. They are far quicker to release new products than to update older products.

Can it hold an Aputure Light dome II with the bowens mount?
