      hairdryer will work, just takes a little longer to heat up the graphics.

    Down here in Vegas, I like to do it in the summer. let the graphics sit in the sun for a little so its warm, then install it in the warm garage. Seems to make the graphics more pliable on the tricky spots.

    Wowww wayyyy better than my method, my method was 12 pack of trulys, eyeball everything and cut “Vs” out the plastic when it bubbles or overlaps lol hahahah

    Is their a trick to doing the tank decals? Has slits and all but still bubbles up and wants to come off. Told its gas fumes and nothing can do?

    What the. best way to glue back down a graphic that's lifted? it's right where the knees rub the radiator shroud. I was thinking contact cement, rubber cement, shoe goo.

      Get a new graphic, if there’s been water or dirt on the sticky surface its never gonna stick the same without using something that will damage the plastic

    Anyone knows how to install graphics on a plastic fuel tank, I install it but got bubbles in a few hours, is there anyway to cure the tank to avoid transpire, thanks so much 🤪

    Now may seem like a stupid question but is there anyway you can preserve your factory graphics? Or can you lay your new graphics over top. I just don’t know if I am going to regret taking my factory graphics off.

      That's up to you, you can lay them on top but it's probably not going to look as good. I would buy a new set of plastics for the new graphics if you want to keep the factory ones too. -Charles

    What type of contact cleaner are you using ? Its not brake clean chemical is it?! That would damage the plastics? Drop a link please ! Thank you

    If you use application fluid, don't use to much or it will never stick and it will bubble.

      I use break cleaner, works very well but takes some of the shine away from the ‘plastics’.

    this is the way!!!! Like the mandolorians say. Seriously though, will never use another technique. This cutting the center of the backing out makes a HUGE difference in time and quality of application. THANK YOU

    My first time applying graphics I tried this method on one side and it left me with some wrinkles where there were creases in the plastic and numerous bubbles. On the other side I tried the soap and water spray and it came out much better and easier to apply

      How did the soapy water method hold up after riding? Not throwing shade genuinely curious cause I’m about to order graphics for my 2020 and this method seems a little difficult

      @@copenhagenredneck7885 it felt difficult as well, but I have seen this method used in other places. I actually haven't been able to ride yet since I installed the graphics but they look and feel like normal so far. I'll update after my next ride.

    Factory method 😉
    2 drops of dish soap
    16 oz water
    Light spray graphic
    Light spray plastic
    Apply graphic into position
    Squeegee out water from center using light heat from heat gun if necessary
