@@liquidleopard4495I hope somehow that the game would go as far as that the characters would survive through Operation BULLDOG only to learn about Serpent’s result later.
The Battlemaster with the Phranken paint job - if it's supposed to be someone important in lore - could belong to Helmar Valasek, Pirate King of Santander V. I wonder if it's the Jaguar saKhan Sarah Weaver who, among other things, fought Valasek's pirates. Also, it was her protégé that ordered the bombardment of the Warsaw Ghe... I mean, the city of Edo.
I think the point of thinking that might be Natasha is just before that it shows a Dragoon in Black with Red and then shows her. In the trailer we do hear someone say that they talked back to saKhan Weaver, so it is might be possible it is her. Though I would guess that the Clanner with the visible Neuro-Implants is Weaver, as she closely matches the picture from Sarna and the woman is black is Natasha who at the start of Operation Revival is nearly 70 years old.

My guess is that the naval combat is going to be cinematic only. I think it's just too big of a workload for the scope of the game. I would love to be wrong, but I doubt that it would exist at a level of quality that the mech combat achieves; so I would personally rather not have it be in the game.
I know everyone is thinking that's Natasha but I think it might actually be Star Colonel Emilie Wimmer who commanded the 362nd 3049-3059 which is when the game is taking place.
Osis should be in there, somewhere. Once Leo Showers becomes ilKhan in 3048, Lincoln Osis becomes the Jaguars' Khan. A couple of years later, he and Sarah Weaver try to blame Ulrich Kerensky for Showers' death. If the cinematics include the space battle that k!lls Leo Showers, then that involves a meeting of big names from the biggest clans.
I did spot a guy with Wolf's Dragoons insignia on his suit. So we are going to see Mercenaries involved as well. And my opinion: We may see a defection to the Inner Sphere because it looks like a question being posed to the player character and his Star on which side to fight for, maybe by Natasha Kerensky herself? We could be looking at a different take on Star Captain Trent's from the Twilight of the Clans novels? I don't think the Explorer Corps ship was able to report back the location of Huntress, but it was a Clan defector that revealed the Exodus Road. And considering how the Smoke Jaguars were isolated more and more by the other Clans as being "corrupt"... would not surprise me if our PC and his Star defects to the Inner Sphere because they got a front row seat to this "Corruption" and were like "This isn't what we were bred for."
...But didn't Natasha Kerensky fight for Clan Wolf as soon as the invasion started? I'm pretty sure she was the Khan of Clan Wolf at one time. That being the case, it's hard to imagine how a Smoke Jaguar player would meet a big cheese from Clan Wolf, with the whole Ghost Bear corridor in between.
@TTB. Did you notice the one guy with the Wolf's Dragoons logo on his uniform? Jaime Wolf in his younger years maybe? Also I am not so sure about the other femal. Also my first thought was Natasha but wouldn't she be much younger during the invasion?
I would actually love to have like a fps or third person shooter where you are an Elemental pilot as a focus. And then you see Battlemechs. I think that would properly set the scale of just how massive and cool this universe is. EDIT: My guess is at some point in the story you turn traitor to clan smoke jaguar and fight alongside the inner sphere's as the clan does an atrocity too many.
If there's a plot twist like that, I think it's more likely you defect to a Warden clan. Probably the Ketchup Canines, since they seem to be goodest good-guys in FASA's writing.
Not explicitly banning, as I recall, but close... Clan Wolf left their warships out of the bidding for every subsequent invasion, and set an example that the other clans supposedly followed.
Yes the daughter of the leader for free rasalhague crashes her shilon into the bridge of the ship with the ilkhan for clan smoke jaguar. who happend to be on a clan wolf ship at the time.
Khan Leo Showers (very distinct facial tatts) is not Worf/Michael Dorn. Overlords are egg shaped. Those are probably Union since PGI already made them for MW5M. Rifleman doing Rifleman things! wooo!!!!! Your "dire wolf" looks like a Warhawk at 8:00. That's not a Dire Wolf cockpit (which is rounded). 9:42 EI Implants.
I’ve been waiting for a good mechwarrior game since mechwarrior 3 … Mercenaries was a horrific disappointment which led me to walk away from the mech warrior universe. I’ll reserve my excitement until this game proves itself w/ the mass audience.
I dislike all the DEI nonsense too but everything in this cinematic is lore accurate. None of the characters have been race swapped to suit a political agenda. This is how they were written back in the 90s when DEI wasn't really a thing.
while this is a more common issue today, the trailer is lore accurate friend, this is not the case here of course we will have to see the entire game but it should be fairly minimal if at all
I bet you couldn't stand The Expanse then. They cast black people, Asians, Persian, Arab, Samoan... There was an Ojibwe actress but I bet you'd just assume she was white. Science fiction isn't the white guy club that it used to be, and it isn't an "issue" unless you have your head up your @$$.

EDIT: My guess is at some point in the story you turn traitor to clan smoke jaguar and fight alongside the inner sphere's as the clan does an atrocity too many.
If there's a plot twist like that, I think it's more likely you defect to a Warden clan.
Probably the Ketchup Canines, since they seem to be goodest good-guys in FASA's writing.
looks like Nicolai Malthus offspring.
8:55 yup they did commit some warcrimes, which led to the clan invasion council banning warships and naval bombardment iirc
Not explicitly banning, as I recall, but close... Clan Wolf left their warships out of the bidding for every subsequent invasion, and set an example that the other clans supposedly followed.
dafaq one of the top mw streamers didnt read lethal hetriage O_O
Yes the daughter of the leader for free rasalhague crashes her shilon into the bridge of the ship with the ilkhan for clan smoke jaguar. who happend to be on a clan wolf ship at the time.
Seven of Nine seems to run neural implants.
I never said he was that. I said that actor could have played that role.
@@TTBprime fair enough. but it seems like they did a good casting for him.
Absolutely! Some of the voice actors in the game are doing a phenomenal job.
iam hyped but i wait 3 month after release, then everything will be fixed xD
>Smoked Jaguar
hilarious and very original. I have never heard that one before
🤣
Help comstar! The bad guys r outside
Sounds more palatable than a Jellied Jaguar or Pureed Puma.
@@liquidleopard4495 Or tiger tartare 😜
sorry but in this movie on Huntress invation? this is not Clans....
It's probably the moment the Comstar ship Outbound Light jumped into Smoke Jaguar space, in 3048. It was the catalyst for Operation Revival.
the cinematics are significantly better than the game animation
As is tradition for Mechwarrior.
Jag you ehr
Canuckle/Bong pronunciation.
JJJJJAAAAAAGG. Channel your inner Clarkson!
@@TTBprime It's a good thing nothing in this lore shares a name with a Lamborghini!
Clarkson couldn't pronounce the cars' names to save his life!
that doesn't look like Smoke Jaguar, that looks like a cape from clan Jade Viper... looks a lot more like a snake than a kitteh.
I’ve been waiting for a good mechwarrior game since mechwarrior 3 … Mercenaries was a horrific disappointment which led me to walk away from the mech warrior universe. I’ll reserve my excitement until this game proves itself w/ the mass audience.
I doubt that Mechwarrior games will ever resonate much with the mainstream as long as that is still stuff like Fortnite.
god dei in everything anymore more i give up no more games
Too many foids 🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢
OH MY GOD I DIDN'T SEE THE ELEMENTAL WHEN I WATCHED IT
At 7:18, that looks like an Elemental using a flamer on that Phoenix Hawk.
@@kryptonianguest1903 Oh my God! I didn't see it! I was wondering if they would implement real elementals in the game or not. I hope the AI won't be as stupid as the MW5 Mercs.
Music from Pacific Rift?? Pararam pararam ….
The game looks fine. But what I am not happy about, is their money grabbing options. Having to pay 80 bucks just to get the WAR variant Timberwolf, then having the DLC of just paints jobs, only be free for the first week, then having to be paid for.
