    I have a 2021 Husky FX 450. It’s been the best out of the box bike I have ever had. The air fork is really good and the motor is awesome!! I ride single track mostly with some track stuff and district racing. I also have a 300xc KTM.

      Which one do you prefer your 450 or 300xc for single track ?

    • @craigpeterson4779
      @craigpeterson4779 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@pm7302 for tight and technical stuff can’t beat the 300. For more open single track the 450 is great.

    Great review. Best thing about it? You guys ride and race and that gives your bike and product reviews real credibility. You actually ride what you sell. Thanks guys!

    I'm all about my 2021crf250rx big bore kitted out with a 300cc cylinder and piston . Plenty of bottom end power and torque which was missing from stock and still gain more top end over Rev. Great package .

    I love my 2021 450rx such a beast of a bike. Plants so nice on single track turns, and rips up the rocky steep stuff!! Rode a 2022 ktm xc, and I couldn't stay away from my honda, but its all on the rider!

    Great video. I have a 2021 450rx and love it. Most of my riding is pretty tight and you definitely can't get lazy on it. Haven't done alot of open riding with it but I hope that will change soon!

      How does it lug in the tight stuff? I’m torn between a 300 2t and an rx.

    • @caycedoerr802
      @caycedoerr802 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@MathewsGuitarWorks it does pretty well. You won't be riding a gear high like you do on a 2t but if you have the correct gear selection and throttle control it can go anywhere. I have a video on my page of riding it on some single track. Not super tight but it might give you an idea

    They're both really good bikes. Being a heavy weight I'd take the honda, the stiffer suspension and more aggressive motor helps it hall my fat butt around.

    I have the best of both worlds. I have a 07 crf250r kitted out with everything you can throw at it and a 21 husky tc250. Personally I think a 450 is too much bike for me lol. But I wouldn’t mind a KTM 350.

    I pick the Honda because it's easier to say "Honda" instead of "Husqvksfvbarna." Then again, it's easier to say FX 450 than C"ee aRGH eFFFF four fiddy aRggh Eck." Actually, it really boils down to which is available, and more affordable.

    Sounds good boi’s. . I ride a service Honda 500 and have ridden this bike primarily for the better part of 10yrs . I have & would ride my crf250r & crf450r bothe setup for trail with tire balls , gearing & 18” rear wheels . I to am a Honda fan . I have been considering a new small bore 2t bike but had a chance to ride a buddies ktm 300xc and fully enjoyed the tpi & e-start . The only downside is what’s the cost of ownership on a ktm or rebranded ktm over 3-4yrs . My ktm 1190r adv is not a very inexpensive bike for maintenance . My oil changes cost $200-$250 for the ktm branded filters & running the motul recommended oil . My dodge diesel uses 3.5g of oil and even running full synthetic barely costs me $100-$125 with a Cummins brand filter from Walmart . So with that said my 500 is nearly bullet proof & so trouble free on maintenance. . The crf’s also very reliable what can u say they’re Hondas & that’s the truth .

    I just recently bought a 2023 450RX and after watching some of the reviews here, im a little unsure if i will ever use this bike to its full potential..last bike i owned was an 82 IT 250 and i dont even know if i rode that to its full..A little too late to turn back now....Im sure it will be a great bike but probably should have gotten something a little less agressive..Havent been on a dirt bike for like 20 years.. What are your thoughts?

    I have a 2017 KTM 450 XCF and while I do like my bike, I would not buy another 450. It's too much power for me and the type of riding I do. I'll look for a KTM/Husky 350 or a Beta 390 when the time comes for a new bike. If I had to choose between the Honda and the Husky in the video, I'd go Honda, because I've had two KTMs now and I'd like to try something new. A Honda 350 RX would really be an interesting bike.

    • @rmatvmc
      @rmatvmc  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Or just ride more! I had baby hands from not riding all year due to my knee injury haha. I don't think any pair of gloves would've saved me. Plus, the OEM grips are Hondas are notorious for being extremely firm. At the 24 hour race, I rode for around 6 hours and didn't have one blister and my hands were in the same condition as they were at this race. Super soft suspension and softer grips did the trick! - Chase

    Absolutely diehard Honda rider here, until I bought my son a 2021 TE250i last December. I just dropped a deposit on a FX450, thought I'd never buy anything else but a Honda. Honestly for a Pro-Vet there's no other option out of the box but a Husqvarna.

      @Hanibul_Lecktor ปีที่แล้ว

      @DarkTideOffroad then you don't know wtf you're talking about. All the hydraulics, brakes and clutch are different. Sub frame, different material, carbon vs aluminum. Rear shock, lowered and stroked and valved different. Rims, different...But hey, they lOoK tHe SaMe.......bruh, walk away.

    • @Hanibul_Lecktor
      @Hanibul_Lecktor ปีที่แล้ว

      @DarkTideOffroad 2022 Husqvarna pretty much round housed all the competition in the shootout across the board. If they were the same, they would of gotten 1,2 and 3 buuuut they didn't. Engine mapping, suspension was superior on the Husqvarna. Like I said, for a Pro-Vet rider, there is no other option.
