This representation of Narges Mohammad is truly phenomenal. In addition, I find it politically intelligent, as it forces Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Eje'i, chief justice of the judicial department, to make a statement that could potentially lead to public outrage. Nice work, Nobel Prize, and thank you Mohammadi for your incredible activism!
If anyone has any comments regarding your predictions of the Irian government, feel free to add to the discussion below.

Congratulations to Narges Mohammadi. Her resistance and bravery is impressive for those are looking for better life and freedom, things that Iran's dictator banned for 44 years. This is the reason behind the slogan: #woman_life_freedom

@ourstoryisone is a world campaign remembering the execution of inocent women in Iran 40 years ago. Iranian women have been suffering persecution since then in an scale unheard of in the west. Just last year in Iran over 800 people were executed by the regime and 15000 jailed.

The Nobel committee made the right decision in giving the prize to Mohammadi. The goal is to encourage peace. The question about The Ukraine was uncalled for. I dont see anyone promoting peace in Ukraine and it is not in the committee's place to pick sides when it comes to that war. Putting attention on Iran's disregard for women's rights is a much better goal when trying to promote equal rights for women. You cannot have peace if you treat half of the world's population like 2nd class citizens.

Sweden, thank you for having the courage and vision to award the Peace Prize to Narges Mohammadi. I had never heard of her until today. Like many people had never heard of Maria Ressa or Liu Xiaobo before they received the same prize. Repressive regimes will always be unhappy about recognition being given to such brave individuals. And to the spotlight being shone on their repressive methods. Keep it up, Sweden. The world is a better place with this annual prize.

How could they while she is in prison? It's almost cruel timing. She could have gotten clemency, but they had to go and back her. In Iran it's like sending in felons to testify for a death row inmate about their character and expecting that will free her. Cruel timing. Couldn't they have waited until clemency could have been granted?

Western media at its finest. 90% of Iranians are perfectly fine with the government, the 10% who are fighting are not even properly Iranian, they came from the west during the Shah of Irans time and now are under an Islamic government with Islamic rules. That’s why their upset with the Iranian government. I’m not saying Iran is perfect, but having a dress code is far from the biggest issue in the world. If that were the case, where’s the award for women in France fighting for hijab?
