There are lots of jobs you can't get in the USA just for a felong conviction. As per AI here are some:
Government Positions: Most government positions require a background check1.
Child Care: Jobs in schools, child care centers, or other facilities where there is substantial contact with children1.
Liquor Store or Bartender: An alcohol-related offense can legally bar you from these jobs1.
Financial Institutions: A money-related offense can legally keep you from working in a financial institution1.
Health Care: Convicted felons are typically restricted from occupations in the Department of Public Health’s jurisdiction1.
Real Estate: Felons are usually unable to possess, obtain or maintain most professional licenses, certifications or registrations1.
Pharmaceuticals: Felons are typically restricted from the distribution of drugs or pharmaceuticals1.
Pest Control, Embalming, and Insurance Sales: These fields often require professional licenses, which are typically restricted for felons1.
Law Enforcement: The conviction of any felony automatically disqualifies a candidate from working for the FBI, whether as a special agent or on the professional staff1.
Armed Forces: Felons are prohibited by federal law from holding employment with the armed forces2.
Yet you can be president? Is there no end to the ridiculousness of American election laws?

First off the jury in this trial didn't even have to come to a consensus on what felonies he was guilty of in order to get a guilty verdict. Which is far as anyone is concerned with any critical thinking skills should not even consider this a real trial in terms of how you look at the president. Secondly he's the president there's no way for them not to be biased in this case because every single person has an opinion on the president. In the city that he was tried in definitely had a jury that was all Democrats. Not because they ruled guilty but because of the chance of there being a conservative are extremely low and the chance of there being a neutral person are even lower. Part of the reason that we didn't prosecute ex-presidents is because it's impossible for any of them to have a fair trial.

@@Michael_Page There is not likely to be any prison. The Supreme Court’s emergency docket, also known as the shadow docket, consists of applications seeking immediate action from the court. Unlike the merits docket, these cases are handled on an expedited basis with limited briefing and no oral argument, and the court often resolves them in unsigned orders with little or no explanation. Based on this fact and being this close to an election and with the accusations of election interference and the extreme irregularities that took place in judge Merchan's court, it would be shocking if the SCOTUS does not pick up on this case almost immediately....especially if the N.Y. court sentences him. The other option available to them and the one I think is most likely to occur, is that the SCOTUS will side with Trump and grant him presidential immunity thereby assuring a complete end to the election interference altogether.

@@annamg338 No question they did their job very well. This had to be the greatest example of a kangaroo court and railroad job that I've ever seen. However, there is not likely to be any prison. The other option available to them and the one I think is most likely to occur, is that the SCOTUS will side with Trump and grant him presidential immunity thereby assuring a complete end to the election interference altogether including that perpetrated by Fani Willis and Jack Smith.

He has secret service protection guaranteed for life that mean to judge sentence is Noel and void also he still on the ballot and if he is reelected he will be the president again. Again the judge cannot override secret service protection guaranteed for life also if the judge attempted to throw somebody in jail does it delete in presidential candidate they would be riots all over the country so he really can't send it Donald Trump to anything. Even if he tries it will not be enforced by the secret service and all they can do is find him Trump will not pay the fine. That will be the end of it.

    Definitively wrong.
When indigent defendants must serve their sentence while the appeal process takes place, it is fundamentally unfair to allow wealthy criminal defendants to remain 'out' and suspend their sentence pending appeal simply because of their wealth.
