It depends which part of the country one is. Michigan during July and August had rain somewhere in the state about every day. The corn crop looked real healthy.

Sorry to see your crops are not doing well for you. Hope other fields do well for you. We always say, well there is always next year. Just have to make it until then. I agree 100 percent with you on President Trump. I knew a woman from a foreign country many years ago that worked for the Trumps. She was their housekeeper. I'm sure she knew them very well personally. Plus, she was here legally. One of the most honest people I have never known. She had nothing but good things to say about the whole family. The only reason she left there, was her family moved here to Upstate NY.
I was told earlier this year the corn price was down beause of less fuel needed with the 10 or 15% mix with gasoline with all the ele tric cars now being sold. In Morgantown we have seen up to 4 new Tesla pickups 80 to 100,000 dollars each.
A liberal aquaintence told me last week that he heard on the radio that gas price were falling now because electric vehicles were having an impact with an oversupply of gas now. I don't believe that. Yeah we've got one Tesla truck in our town as well. But we have a lot of government jobs in our county doling out $100k+ in salaries so not surprising.
Maybe issue is in there somewhere ik my uncle had his flex bean head not flexing and beleve it or not even tho the bean head is not "apart" of the combine that was the culprit of it not flexing

Maryland is a fine state it's Annapolis and Baltimore and Prince George's County that are full of demonrats.
It is not fun. Luckily the county I live in still votes conservative, but that doesn't matter at the state or federal level.
Farming has become too technical and automated! Yeah, I know, gotta find ways to keep costs down. There's gonna be real issues to deal with soon.

Aflatoxins are a pain. Although… not all moldy corn contains aflatoxins. Get it tested. Maybe by a stroke of luck you won’t have any.
Break out the UV light and see how a few samples light.
Since it is such a small amount, I can blend with my other corn to "hide" it.
Calm down at least you get a week and a half out of a wash. They usually shit on mine with in an hour.
