    The groves being on the outer part of the cup in the Bullet model should make it easier to clean. I have the Ninja and I use it DAILY for protein shakes etc and I take the cups with me to the gym/work and as time went by I’ve noticed the tiny little food parts that stick to those inner groves are hard to clean up, even though I scrub that quite thoroughly... my biggest complain on the Ninja (and Idk if that’s an issue with the Bullet too) is that it has a little hole on the top of its base. Whenever you use it, if a little bit of the liquid leaks out of the glass (and it happens often) this hole acts as a drain and the liquid get INSIDE the motor and then it’s impossible to clean that up. It’s not a problem for a few months, but after a year of using it daily, it has ruined my Ninja. It now smells bad and sometimes the heat of the motor burns this residue and it even smokes a little. I’ve tried to put alcohol and other cleaning products in there, to try to “kill” the biological components in that residue but it won’t work. Also, the base is sealed, so you can’t open it and try to clean it on the inside. I’ve contacted customer service and they don’t offer a “cleaning” service and in case I try to do it with a non-certified repair shop I will lose the guarantee. Big bummer... I’m searching for a power mixer that won’t cause me this same pain now...

    I had Nutri Ninja, very durable, but the problem I had was, after more than a year of using it, then I didn't it use for a month, just cleaned it kept in the cupboards, after taking it out and using it, my juice had a different color! Little did I know that it was rust! The internal blades had rusted but was not visible, that's the part with the rubber and bearings, so it has rusted inside the cutter!
    Now I'm going to try Nutribullet, I hope it doesn't rust quickly!
    Also, the 600W Nutribullet is half the price of Nutri Ninja where I'm at, so it's worth a try this time!

  • @reneeb5935
    @reneeb5935 5 ปีที่แล้ว +20

    I prefer the Ninja over the NutriBullet. When blending drinks with frozen items the NutriBullet must have much more liquid added to it, or it binds up from the frozen food. The Ninja powers through it and gives you a nice shake or smoothie and not too much liquid.

    I have the Nutribullet 1000 and it's been a great machine with all the right features. The downside is it seems very cheaply made and after 14 months use one of the little wings on the cup that engage the blender snapped off (rendering it unusable), there are little broken bits of plastic falling out of the bottom of the blender after each use and the motor has become increasingly loud over time to the point where I cannot be in the same room (dangerously loud). I think I'll try the Ninja next time, my only concern is that based on this video one has to hold the cup down to keep the motor engaged. You can't put a price on quality and unfortunately Nutriullet has failed in that category, let's hope the Nija is better

    So far, I've found nothing better than the original Magic Bullet. I like kale in my smoothies, and it gets it much smoother than anything else I've tried. They only last a year or two, but they're inexpensive, so I don't mind.

    • @drbettyschueler3235
      @drbettyschueler3235 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I've had the original Magic Bullet since they first came out and it still works fine. It has done everything from making smoothies to turning dry dog and cat food into slurry for the pups and kittens to eat. I've even chopped small chunks of meat in it for my ferret. I use the ice crushing blade for the smoothies which costs about $6 extra. The only thing I'm not sure about is how it would work with kale as I'm not supposed to eat dark, leafy greens. I am fairly sure, however, that the Nutribullet would do a better job of incorporating the kale than either the Magic Bullet or Ninja Bullet.

    After many hours of research, compsrisons, reflections and experiences with a variety of designs, it has become very clear that these upside-down blenders offer a whole series of significant disadvantages. The upright blenders make a lot more sense.
    The Oster 1200 Pro is currently selling for 89.95. It goes on sale at times. It has more power, features, versatility, convenience, and higher quality construction.

    I would never ever buy another Magic Bullet.
    I rarely used the one I bought around 6 years ago, because I usually use another blender with a container that I can take with me when I leave the house. Recently, I went to use the MB and it wouldn't spin; then I noticed that the cheap black plastic at the base where the cup rests was crumbling. Contrast the poor quality of the MB to a vintage Osterizer blender that has been in my family going on fifty years, and it is still working as it did when it was new.

      Best blender for you is what you can afford comfortable using and parts easy to find .
      Used for 35 year vitamix only smoothies . Bought Nutri Bullet because easy to find parts on eBay and Amazon . I smoothie almost everything after buying Nutri bullet because easy to use small bearings on cup blade assembly started leaking . $15 replacement estimated 1000 uses in 1 year .
      Seen on TH-cam I can upgrade bearing for about $6 .
      When you find a blender you like ask for same or parts for birthday and Christmas . Whole machine or parts cups blades ect. You will never be without a new blender for the rest of your life .

    I thought the Nutri Nija is 700W (not 900W)?

      It depends which model... My Nutri Ninja is 700W, but its the 2-in-1 model: QB3000. Both the Nutri Ninja Fit as well as the Slim models are 700W too..... BUT, I believe the one she is testing is the Ninja Pro.
      Honestly though, 700w is completely enough... I've had mine since 2015 & use it almost daily, & it has no troubles with ice, oats, dates, frozen produce, carrots, sweet potato etc etc. Once you're over 600W, its basically a TIME thing (along with the blades/construction obviously).... The higher the wattage, the quicker it will blend... But it often means a bigger/bulkier machine... So it just depends what your priorities are.
      I would hands down recommend my 700w Nutri Ninja to anybody, its nice & compact, long lasting, & works incredibly well for even trickier things... If you want one that processes faster though, than up your wattage.
      Hope this helps, all the best from Australia 😊 ❤ Emma.

      Dont be a Karen. At the time of the review these two were the must popular blenders in the market. Both were also around the same price.

      In my personal experience the nutri ninja is better; I had two nutribullet and the base leaked on the shaft on both after 6 month with twice a day use, plus nutri ninja work better with ice cubes

    this is not professional test. first have 900W, second have 600W - this is another level of device. If you realy would like fair and square, you will test device very clouse power. not 30% difference in power.
