I really love Devildriver. I can't remember last time I were so excited about a new album (in this case 'Beast' and 'Winter Kills'). I didn't really enjoy the later Devildriver as much as the early. 'The last kind words' and 'Fury...' are really really strong albums, but my favorite is probably the self titled one. It was so unique to me. It filled that void between the gimmicky nu metal and harder music like Nile and Morbid Angel (I know it's quite the gap, but work with me here) I were growing away from in a groovy manner. However, with 'Pray for Villains' I felt like they were trying to become something they were not. Although I respect the artists for moving on and trying out new things, with the later Devildriver, to me, it feels forced. On 'winter kills' sometimes I can't even tell if it is the same song or the playlist changed. I wish they had spent more time working on the style they displayed on the self titled and 'Fury'. They did it so well. Boy, did they do it well. But that's just my whiny opinion.

I wasn't a big fan of I Could Care Less, because I was too focused on the incorrect use of the title and chorus, but I wasn't truly listening to the MUSIC. They are one of the most underrated metal bands in recent history. It's so shitty when that happens to great bands. Crisis is a good example of a fucking AMAZING and unique band, that was just too ahead of their time for people to appreciate. I've been going back and listening to old favorites of mine, and music truly does have a miraculous effect on the memory. I've been able to remember not only the bands themselves, but unrelated memories from years both before and after that time in my life. Now, on to Chimera! 🤘🤘

What, if anything, does "I could care less THAN for your grandiosity" mean?
(Quite apart from the usual could/couldn't argument (that we, the n'ts will WIN))
I had to read "I could care less than for your grandiosity" 5 times in a row and still have no clue. Is he trying to say he doesn't care (ie couldn't care less) or is he deliberately saying he cares too much and wants to stop but cant so it would do him good if he "could care less" ?
@@NowhereMan7 "I could care less" is a dumb American phrase to mean "I don't care at all". They say they could care less to mean they couldn't care less. It makes no sense and it's absolutely pants-on-head moronic, but they say it that way regardless.

I think the people responding don't understand the nuances of the English language.

@@wigg1yscott554 no.it's a several hundred year old idiom that grammar Nazis choose to attack thinking it makes them look smart when really it makes them look dumb.cuase it shows you lack the ability to understand more complex grammar rules.
It's up there with correcting octopuses into octopi or correcting a double negative which have been apart of the English language for hundreds if not thousands of years.
