He promised foreigners in Singapore that he would apply work and student passes for them in exchange for a fee. However, upon receiving the money, they did not hear from him again. Watch how the officers from the Commercial Crime Squad of Jurong Division tracked down the elusive culprit and prevented more victims from falling prey to this pass application scam.

You don't need to be a PR to work in MBS, as long as MBS employs you, they will apply the relevant passes for you.

i just did a google search and went to MOM website. An S-Pass only take up to 3 weeks for application and approval. But,the person got scammed,thinking it will take many months.

Daniel Yong i understand you are saying that based on your perception and your perception itself. Just because you do not know/ have not experienced before doesn't mean it isn't happening. I can totally understand the reason for your words, which is what would make headlines for an act of 'true policeman' in Singapore. However, its really sad to say that we are only looking at what they are showing us and just that itself. We need to open up our eyes to really understand the situation that is actually going on. Yes, there are corrupted officers, disguised extremely well to the point that people like you and I would not be able to tell. The only reason why i would say this is due to experience, whereby such people have made victims totally powerless and fearful since we are unable to get help.
