After watching this , I can't believe how gullible some people are. Never did these victims thought was a scam. Asking for account login to their website already has alarm bells ringing. Incredible to witness the gullibility of some folks. Sad but true. However glad to see the Singapore police force apprehend these criminals. Great job.
Obviously, Afiq is a victim here. Why was he arrested but not "recruited" to help with arresting the actual mastermind like in some of the other cases we've seen? He was supposed to meet "Tiger" in Malaysia, so they could use it as an opportunity to ambush Tiger and catch him instead.
True dat friend, I would’ve also made the same mistake if I were married to my Japanese wife, and if I were living in Japan due to my wife being Japanese I would hate it if I got a call from the department of homeland security and the Japanese immigration department or the fbi. Plus I would’ve also hated it if the Japanese government would separate me from my kids. Scammers are always out there doing tricks to fool innocent victims even impersonating police officers or immigration officers, as well as threading them with deportation if they don’t provide them their bank account. In fact I agree with you, we must not let our emotions get the best of us, as well as be aware that no government employee will call or ask for payment over the phone as well as your bank information. I fell sorry for the victim in this episode
How come so easy to open bank account while me and my partner struggled to open a joint bank account. So many effing questions like what's your income, what are you working as? Wtf...!
Lol another case I mention. There is no such things as foreign government are allowed to enforce their law in Singapore. Singapore government also will not send any of their PR back without any reason. If you not sure of anything. Just go to the police if you feel you did not do anything wrong. Best way to answer to scammer. I go to the police first to clarify before I get back to you. These scammer surely leave you alone. 😂😂
Received such call cut off you hp nothing to worry about. Even you committed offences in China don’t care. Let Singapore police arrest you but unlikely unless you offences committed in Singapore and police with arrested you at home. Ok
maybe i'm being too critical, but i don't believe that afiq was entirely innocent. there was no way he didn't realise there was anything sketchy about this job of his, c'mon being paid $2000 just to open a bank account?!
This bad guy in light blue t-shirt, is so freaky looking! Is he going for like a ... some sort of Vampire look or something? Getting his face extra white... Unless he was trying out for Taillight movie lol
Feel sad for Afiq. You could see in his mugshot how dejected he was. He was just being gullible and naive with no ill-intent.
Bdk Johor gk kene game dgn Ah Beng

funniest when the scammer tries hard to speak Chinese in a funny tone
the scammer really practiced hard to have that "China" accent
The same tactic is used over and over again even till today.
Same bank and manager used over and over again
if only all the chinese police scam call have this accent, they can be instantly identified as fake
Sheeeerwaaaa
the Chinese police will not also contact you directly, so it must be fake, haha
10:51 the emblem seems to be the ROC not PRC
Of course it is. Yes, of course it is. Note that it is from the People's Republic of China, but why is it using the Taiwan logo?
😂 always the scapegoat goes to jail, then the mastermind just find another stupid scapegoat.
6:46 ladies and gentlemen, that is the symbol of ROC(Taiwan) police, not mainland china cop.
How can you tell that’s a symbol from the ROC (Taiwan)?

11:06 They say PRC police but then put ROC’s police logo, how lor
Don’t believe anyone on the phone. Must meet in person.
Afiqs arrest was such a pity..he didn't even know.
Pity the guy 😑
Old episode again reloading
1:57 man claims to be Malaysian but has Singapore passport😂
Same colour only
It is actually a malysian passport
"scammer" has a Ah Beng accent..
Xmasal afiq.sbb tu jgn mudah ikut apa org suruh bila melibatkan detail diri n account bank
Best not to answer calls from people you not know. No communication, no get scammed.
And best to just leave $20 in the bank 🏦 lol that way scammers can't suck all your money away lol 😂

The lady has a singaporean IC number but speaks English in a heavy prc accent lol. Lmao
i'm pretty sure she's someone from china who settled in singapore, ergo her accent.
yeah i get strange numbe
If someone from the police asks for my name...
i never knew foreigners could just walk into any of our banks & open an account. i always thought you had to be working here.
PRC usually don't say 我再打电话给你, they will either say 我再给你打电话 or 我再联系你 which is more appropriate. The sentence structure is completely different.
See...how good singapore bank..u did cheating open bank acct kene caught, yet the bank give u drink let u feel comfortable before police take u away.😄
How come so easy to open bank account while me and my partner struggled to open a joint bank account. So many effing questions like what's your income, what are you working as? Wtf...!
Aho say bad word go to police
@@tommyinnit194 u never say bad word in ur life?
No never I'm a kid
Probably depending on the bank
Yeah precisely because of all these that is why they ask questions now. To filter people out.
My mother also received a similar call, saying they are the china police, but she just roasted them.
