didnt an elite wield an smg in one map? i think i saw somewhere that its a bug but i like to think that the elite lost his ar2 and just borrowed an smg1

it's in the last map before you go in the citadel where you fight striders, there's an elite with a smg

Fun fact: the soldirt version of the elite was meant to be used in game, but not appearing due to a glitch

I remember there being a elite with a MP7 in the follow freeman chapter (I think).

If you ignored the editing mistake, you can think that the battle was so chaotic that the elite soldier lost his gun, and had to grab an smg from the ground.
