In Philippines most soda and beer comes in glass bottle. Glass bottle is cheaper than plastic and can in Philippines, in fact can is the most expensive

I wish they would of included fountain drinks. Coke tastes very different at Whataburger vs McDonalds vs Chick-fil-A. There is a science to fountain machines.

Anne Smith Fountain drinks are just carbonated water and syrup, i.e sprite, dr. Pepper, coke - it can taste better, or worse from a fountain
I have heard that McDonalds tastes so much different (better) than the other places because of how the syrup is stored (They store it cold, which most places don't. They store it in metal containers rather than plastic like other fast food places.)
That's because they can control the ratio of syrup to carbonated water. You ever go to a fountain drink and get straight carbonated water with a drop of syrup? 🤢 McDonald's uses a special blend for their coke too

Really, thats odd. Most stores near me even carry Jarritos. Sodas with real sugar have a better taste.

Soda is good to drink when you have diarrhea.
You also have to take into account that most glass Cokes are made in Mexico. This is important, because in Mexico, they use CANE SUGAR instead of High Fructose Corn Syrup which is used in the formula for plastic bottles, and cans. The glass preserves carbonation better than can or plastic bottle. Other than the carbonation, the taste is different due to a different recipe, and not the bottle (Cane Sugar being exclusive to Mexican bottled Coke).
The best is Mexican Coca-Cola in a glass bottle.

In the UK all our Coke is made using "real" sugar, only the US uses HFCS.
Well... It's just coke with cane Sugar. Which they have been using for almost a 100 years. Mexican Coca Cola© is just marketing.

I dont mind the containers much when it comes to most soda, but I really enjoy drinking Coca-Cola out of a glass bottle, it just feels more authentic to drink it that way. Plus I prefer the Mexican Coca-Cola that comes in the big glass bottles that has real cane sugar in it as opposed to corn syrup :)

i searched for a video like this because i recently noticed a difference in soda in bottle and in can since i started to drink can more and i still havent really gotten an answer as to why they taste different but i enjoyed the video

Hellll nooo. Cans are disgusting. Glass is first, followed by plastic.
For me, the main thing plastic bottle has over the other two is the lid being being the easiest to uses and is able to be reattached fine, so it it much more portable, and it’s ease of acquiring. I do prefer can, just love the hiss and crack of opening it up, though I haven’t had glass bottle enough regularly, I feel like I would like it the best.
I like the glass for the overall feel and portion control, since I'm cutting back on how much soda I drink and 8oz (or 12oz Mexicoke) is plenty for me on a somewhat regular basis.
However, the cans are great for when I don't care about how much I'm drinking, but I try to stay away from plastic bottles.

Glass bottle for me makes it easy to go down. Plastic bottle is hard to gulp and is usually warm and stale with extra bubbles. Cans taste like a mixture of the 2
i feel like cans have a similar effect to wine glasses when smelling the drink as opposed to a bottle, i often feel like i get more flavor from a can just from more fragrance
how about soda from vending manchine that fast food restaurant always use? It says that they do 70% soda 30% water combination to make it more watery with less carbonation which why many people able to drink fast without having sensation of carbonate in mouth
I don’t like to drink sodas. Just because I know it’s not too healthy. But man, when it comes to a glass bottle.... it persuades me to drink one almost every time.

Glass is the best; particularly since the original recipe is bottled only in glass. Also, it is the greenest container; glass can be washed or recycled infinitely. But companies don't like it as much because it is the heaviest.
I don't see alot of energy-drinks (monster, redbull) that are in bottle, and I tried Redbull on bottle some times but it really taste different!
I hate soda from plastic. It looses that crisp chill way too fast after it's left the fridge, and for some reason the carbonation looses intensity way faster out of plastic too. There's also a slightly different flavour, likely from the plastic. Another downside is the permeability of plastic allowing the drink to lose carbonation over time.
All in all, plastic sucks for sodas.

Why is a fountain better?
Because the flavor syrup is combined with the carbonated water the second it dispenses, so you technically get the freshest flavor, meanwhile the cans and bottles, the water and syrup are combined at the factory, and can take as long as a week to get from factory to your mouth.
The distributor also calibrates the mix but I think they add more to compensate for the ice used and you may be getting a sweeter drink until all the ice melts.

Glass soda in CA is only available from a Mexico processing plant and they also use real sugar not HFC. Cans have a portion of the aluminum exposed when opened. so yes you are drinking out of an Al holder but most of the drink is not exposed to it. unless it is old soda. Old soda in plastic also looses so carbonation so it not as secure some go flat. Thus freshness is a key factor too. Diet has the shortest shelf life if you look at the markings.
Definitely prefer glass but it’s way more expensive to get those Mexican bottle cokes so I usually get cans

I can taste the metallic from drinking out if a can. For this reason I prefer plastic bottles or glass bottles. But finding glass pepsi is so rare.

Different batches easily makes the biggest difference. And that the soda hasn't gone flat of course.
Anyone who has drinked Red Bull daily for years can tell which taste sweet and awesome and which taste off. And it's not from the effect that on some days i might taste it different depending what i've eaten but i've taste tested multiple cans side by side and others have a sweeter taste and others more bitter or just more off. I'm assuming every Coke batch can't taste exactly the same either

It's not only different for everybody, but for me it is also different depending on the drink.
I prefer Pepsi from a can.
Coke from a glass bottle.
Beer from a glass bottle or a proper beer glass (especially hefeweizen).
The list goes on. But nothing from a plastic bottle. When I pour it into a glass though, it doesn't matter what the soda or drink was in before (with the exception being beer). I think the feel of the container wasn't adressed enough. The great thing about cans is that they feel colder and that changes the experience significantly. They also are smoother than plastic bottles. Our lips do play a role in our drinking experience. That's why I for example can't enjoy anything directly out of a carton.
But I buy milk in glass bottles when I can, because I find the carton taste gets to the milk somehow. Doesn't seem to happen with juices though.

Plastic is generally the worst. they made coke once in aluminum bottles, they tasted so much better for some reason, on top of aesthetically looking amazing.

I love Diet Coke and I can’t imagine life without it. I never liked the plastic bottles. Diet Coke seems to go flat a lot quicker in a bottle than it does in a can. Even if I left an open can of Diet Coke out overnight if I drink it the next day while it’s flat it still tastes good where as whenever it happens with a bottle, if I drink it again it doesn’t have that sweet taste anymore.

I think glass bottles can last longer i had a cream sodas with friends that were over 25 years old some were good some were bad but they tasted okay then i also had a cokeicola from 89 and it tasted pretty good. I will always love glass bottles with soda in it instead of plastic i only wished my local dam stores sold more. and were so goddamn so expensive for 6 of them.
