How to pan for gold and practice at home

Use lead. Split shots, buck shot, etc…
Lead behaves just like gold even though it weighs a little less. If you can keep lead in your pan, you can keep gold
Trust your pan and let the water wash that top layer out. Your gold will get to the bottom really quick so do not worry about losing gold. Don’t go above half the depth of your pan if your just starting out.
Speed planners get it done in 30 seconds so trust gravity to do its thing

Ive seen some instructionals by the federal government. They tell you shake just like that but also to rotate it half way back and forth at the same time. Also they tell you
