Chris, you have no idea just how much you make my day whenever I watch any of your videos. I know you had said that you suffered from depression in a previous video, as do many other magicians. I myself have demoralisation and anxiety and use my deck of cards (whichever one I have on me) to help prevent/stop panic attacks. I would have to say that it works surprisingly well, especially since I'm not allowed to take any psych meds except for Klonopin (which only helps me with anxiety and also to sleep at night). I can't carry my pills with me, but a deck inside of a clip can always fit into one of my pockets pretty easily. And as a matter of fact, I even started a hashtag on Instagram (#cardsarethebestmedicine), which was only on posts that basically said that I would much rather have a deck to play with to help with the anxiety and symptoms of demoralisation. Anyway, keep up the good work. I'll watch more of your videos now that you're uploading almost every day. 😎,👍 👏👏👏

Have you thought of using the back of a card for the gimmick?
it would match the way the card goes into the box and also would allow you to use any card or have them pick a card.

Love this effect. Thanks Chris for the tutorial. I normally do this trick now on top of a coffee table and i found it fun to drop the card on the floor and push it under the table with my foot. Then lay the box on the table and “push” the card through the solid coffee table. Really cool because my hands never go under the table. :)
You are the best man. My skills have grown exponentially since subscribing to your channel. Thanks again man!

Your hands are so big. You were blessed xD
Seriously though, as a person with relatively small hands (I say relatively to keep some of my self confidence), whenever I do a cop (and I do it a lot) I have to have the card no further than the base of my middle finger, or else it'll slip out. Still works for me though :)

I caught onto your gimmick the first time you showed it because the corners of the 7 where sharp. It would have been more convincing if you rounded off the corners of the box flap. But either way, that's a really awesome effect.

Hey Chris! Firstly, I'm a huge fan of yours. Secondly, I have a quick question. A few days ago, I saw a video of a magician doing a magic trick ending in him basically forcing the spectator he was performing on to give him a kiss. It felt weird and awkward to me. What is your opinion on this kind of trick? Also, can we see some street magic bloopers? Like you getting rejected or tricks going wrong? As someone trying to get into street magic I'd love to see how you handle these things. Thanks!
