- I had a fantastic time at the UK Scale Nationals this year. It's a fantastic place to crawl with lots of scale challenges like rocks, mud, hill climbs and there was even a 1/24 scale mini crawler course this year too.
I only managed to make the Sunday this year, but it was a 3 day event so there were so many more awesome RC's to see and RC activities going on. I'd definitely recommend going if you're considering it.

Great video. These RC vehicles are amazing. Don’t know about the tech at all but it seems a far cry from those radio/remote control cars of old with a forward, and only turns in reverse 😂

@@DoURC I live out on Vancouver Island , Canada. there are a few local groups that trail run on weekends , but no big meet ups or events.

this video has just saved me a few quid thanks, was looking at getting a new car and was looking at the traxxas and scx10 but after seeing the carisma's hold there own and how good they look i think i will go with one of them
They can be great little rigs. Main issue with them is ground clearance due to the large pumpkins. The Range Rover bodies if done right look great for a Lexan body. 👍
I want to know where the Carisma Range Rover bought it's wheels. I've got tacky 6 spokes on mine, I want authentic ones like that had!

He commented when we were running with him that his diffs needed rebuilding, hence all the clicking. 👍

Sounds like something bent in that purple Jeep is causing that rattle. Should probably check what's bent and replace it (or maybe bend it back) so it doesn't damage what it sounds to be banging against
It was his diffs clicking, he was aware of it, just hadn't fixed it yet. 👍
What tires was that gray truck using? Super soft and flexing the side walls!
That's my RC4WD C2X running the RC4WD Muckey Thompson tyres, they come with it. I was really happy with their performance. 👍
Will be testing them out on my TRX4 soon. 👍

It's an event, they have a Facebook page called UK Scale Nationals. The event is held in Matlock, Derby. 👍

It was the UK Scale Nationals, up near Matlock. They have a Facebook group. It's the same place the Funduro is held at and sometimes the G6. 👍

If you haven't been before, check out the Southern Scale Trail event too. That's happening in September and they have a website and Facebook group. One of the biggest events in the UK. 👍

What is everyone thoughts on "bashing it" up a climb as scale behavior?
Example, at 4:30 the truck just powers over the obstacle. In my opinion, this is not scale rc behavior. Anyone can bash an rc over stuff. To me, scale is treating it like "real life" and finding a line through vs the bash and run...thoughts?
Sometimes you have to power through or over obstacles, just like off roaders do in real life. Plus it's just a bit of fun. 👍😁

Bro I said the same thing few years ago when we were at the park and so a guy out there playing with his. About 2 months ago I got me a little trx4m f-150 and played with it a little bit ........ and now I've got so many modifications ive done to it and even built a small spray foam course for it in my man cave. I've had alota hobbies over the years from being drummer in a band .... to riding atvs and owning side×sides... rode Harleys and got into fast cars and tuning... which I still do. ... but hey there is a hobby for everyone and these lil trucks can be alot of fun. Don't knock it till ya try it 💯💁♂️
