i bought a bugaboo because i hated their confusing names and not a clear direction on what was what......so there it is..a lost customer because of some stupid marketing names. yes, i know nuna makes that bugaboo car seat

I spoke with Nuna on 6/14/23 and the Pipa Lite and Pipa Lite LX models have been discontinued and will not be restocked. BUMMER!

This is a great explanation. Someone please ask Nuna why do they pride themselves on being eco friendly but they have ALL these unnecessary versions. It’s wild. Why not buy the Pipa RX instead of the Pipa Lite if you want the RELX base and a dream drape? Why do you need the Pipa Lite R and the RX? 🤣

I know I’m so late so you probably already figured this out but just in case, the Lite RX can be baseless because it has seatbelt passes on the car seat just like the original Pipa.
The Lite and Lite LX cannot be baseless because these two car seats do NOT have a seatbelt path on them

When will NUNA’s supply issue will be resolved? Pipa RX has been out of stock everywhere and they have no restock date available per NUNA’s customer service team.
I was surprised that you didn’t review the Nuna Pipa Next that just came out. We just bought it and was hoping to see a review on it. But after watching this video, the Pipa Next seems identical to the Pipa Lite RX.. now I’m wondering if they’re the same thing but maybe called different things in the US vs in Europe?

im from europe and wanted to get pipa lite rx but on any european site of nuna baby there is way less car seats than on american one so maybe they just named it different🤷🏼♀️

Yes the base, but the LX also has a dream drape and more premium materials (Marino wool/Tencel blend)

So helpful!! Debating between pipa lite r and rx… how big is the weight difference? I’d prefer the dream drape but also want the lightest option 😅
Hi! The Lite R is 5.3lbs VS the Lite RX is 6.9. However the big difference is the Lite RX can be installed without the base.
Would the Pipa base or Relx base be better to use WITHOUT the load leg? Do either of them sit flush on the seat of the car with the load leg stored? We have a Pacifica with Stow & Go seats (ie. hollow floor) so we're not supposed to use the load leg. Thank you!

I am confused which nuna pipa to buy and also which nuna stroller to buy for my baby girl. Few things which I am looking for breathable material, safety , good wheels, easy to install in car and easy to carry for travel in flights , for shopping , for parks , for beach and which cover less space in the car, and which is comfortable for kid even though she sit for long time , and also which is comfortable for her even though she grows taller quickly. I am due on Aug 16th and starting shopping around for stroller and infant car seat.

Hi Sara! Birch is a much brighter white than Timber, which is more of a beige color.
Question: can I use this car seat with a cybex stroller? With my first born I had the original Nina pupa and loved the adapters that I purchased so I could use it with my cybex stroller. Was just wondering if there’s adapters for this one that I can use with the cybex as well.
The supply issue with the RX is out of hand. I don't understand how they can make the RX lite and be so far behind on the regular RX.

Very sturdy in comparison to other strollers that we had. I get a lot of compliments for it. My baby loves being in the bassinet, The th-cam.com/users/postUgkx4qZutfp1y5CaTUcMTuFPbARE5u-8XLiE stroller comfortable. I like the rain cover and the white net that comes with it. I use the rain cover just to cover the car seat when it rains. If your front wheels don't turn well, make sure you lubricate.
Nuna pipa lite Rx-- Has NOT been approved in Canada as of May 2022
Why does the pipa not have a load leg in canada?
Laws are different in different countries - I imagine there is a rebound bar?

Laws and regulations regarding infant car seats are different in each country. We aren’t sure specifically why it doesn’t have a load leg in Canada, but the products we review are always the United States version!

The Urbn does not use a base to install and instead uses the Pipa LATCH. Great for families who travel often.

Hi Isabel! The Pipa Lite R cannot be installed in a taxi or an Uber or any car without using the base. The pipa lite RX can be installed without a base. Also the Pipa Lite RX has a non-rethread harness and a dream drape.
