- 9 months after using my NUNA MIXX Stroller & NUNA PIPA LITE car seat, I'm finally posting my review. I did a LOT of research before buying these and found that most if not ALL reviews were from people actually selling them. So here's an MY HONEST REVIEW of the Nuna Pipa Lite car seat & Nuna MIXX stroller after actually travelling to Mexico 6 weeks with it and using it at home for 9+ months. This is NOT SPONSORED*

Thank you for the great review! How do you like the legrest on the toddler seat? I ordered the mixx next for my baby due in Sep and stumbled on reviews on how uncomfortable the legrest is:( .. Now that your baby is bigger how do you like it? I've also seen reviews that the frame is wobbly and the wheels are sqeaky. Did you have that problem as well? Thanks!
I’ve driven mine through sand, snow, dirt, they never squeaked! The leg rest is adjustable for when they get bigger so it’s super comfy 🥰 thank you for watching and commenting ❤️ and congratulations on your baby !!

i went with the chicco bravo primo travel system and in my opinion it’s the same, yet affordable ($600) i just can’t justify the price of this travel system. i love my primo set!
Never tried it ! I believe it 🥰 the nuna is expensive indeed… but I’ve been on 8+ planes and literally dragged it through the desert and it works like brand new so I can’t complain 😊

This review is so great!! Im trying to justify the cost so much hahaha and this just sold me. For the stroller im considering the cheaper tavo, do you think it would be just as efficient? Or do you have a different recommendation?
Thank you so much. I have never tried the Tavo actually so I can't say 🙃 nuna has amazing products so I'd definitely say it's good from the brand. I've tried the entire line from highchair to the playpen and never been disappointed so definitely go with the price point you want !! ❤ you use them for so long that it's worth it in my opinion

Do the wheels have any issues going through rougher terrain (like a fairground for example)? I think I’m going to get the Nuna mixx but wondering if I still would need something like a Bob jogger for certain scenarios where bigger wheels are required?
I’ve taken it through rough terrain, slush snow, sand, fair ground, parc etc never had a problem. Worst case I back up for beaches and etc 😊🙏 hope this helps !

Thanks for watching! I don’t have the specs but I do have it and the ring is 1-2 lbs I think! Maybe less 😊
The nuna pipa base has a load leg/ stability leg that extends to the floor of your car for extra safety!

I’m thinking to order the Nuna pipa light rx would I need an adapter for the demo grow stroller
Im currently expecting a 3rd. I definitely am looking to buy this system. I dont necessarily travel or need it for that, I saw that it was rated one of the top for safety. Would you agree? I definitely dont mind the price, but do you feel it's top ranked for safety quality. Thank you!!!

How are you liking the mixx now that the baby’s a little older and you’re using the toddler seat?? I’ve heard mixed reviews about it being too shallow of a seat and it’s honestly the only thing holding me back from buying it
I see what they mean that the seat is shallow. I personally love it. My son love to sit straight and what I do is tie the bottom straps only so he can’t slip out but I’ve never used to top straps (5pt harness). It reclines all the way back if they wanna nap so I absolutely love it! It is not a deep seat but I don’t see that as a problem unless you want to leave them not strapped ! 🙏 hope this helps it’s also extremely durable. I’ve taken 8 planes ✈️ been off-roading with it in sand dunes lol 😂
Questions: did it come with the car components? The base and seat? A 4 in one?

Great review!! Strongly contemplating Nuna now for my newborn no I'm pregnant. Very helpful and helped to answer my questions regarding how the car seat, adapter and top part of the stroller work together.

I’ve seen reviews that say the handle used to push/steer can be a bit rattly after a while how is yours holding up?
Also is it 2 hours max you can have baby in the carseat part for? Was this ever an issue? Thank you ❤
My handle is great even 2+ years later. I’ve never heard of a max amount of time. I’ve driven hours like 1600 miles and my son has been in his seat well over 2h but again that’s personal. He’s used to it because we flew and drove with him so many times 🙏

did you pack the carseat and stroller in separate travel bags or were you able to fit it in one bag?
I never brought both! Just 1 so when I went to Mexico I brought the car seat only with the base and the stroller (not the stroller seat) ! 🥰
@@OneFamilyOneLove So glad I ran into this, we have the same system-- When flying, does the car seat count as part of the stroller (as the seat?) ? Hoping to travel with carseat, base and stroller without any hiccups.. did you have to pay extra for bring in any of the items on your Mexico flight?

So he was huge 9.5lbs at birth, I believe he lasted 9 months but I did have the pipa light which is why I recommend the pipa car seat that can handle a heavier baby (lasts longer) thank you so much 😊

Is it allowed for a baby to sit in the airplane without this seat base? Cause you won't be able to buckle it up, right?
Yes any baby can ride on the lap until 2 years old! No you cannot buckle the baby during take off / landing you must holt them facing you (just citing the rules)

Snap it on the side button! On either side - it should be a NUNA cup holder

Super honest review for the money not worth it the car seat is heavy and then the stroller its self its heavy Nd huge something plus my child only used it 1 year now he walking everywhere its a ripp off well to poor people like me
Hello! Thanks for your input. The pipa lite is the lightest car seat on the market (5.2lbs), the stroller is expensive but stays really clean and you can sell it for a lot so you’ll get part of your money back 🙌 there’s definitely a stroller for everyone’s needs 🥰

I actually have the Graco car seat in our second truck, I love it. Definitely less padding and less comfy for my little one than the Nuna Car seat, but I have no complaints as it was 99$ :) This Nuna stroller set was my dream color combo and look for 3 years so it was more of a personal thing to get it - I must say after taking over 8 airplanes with it and walking through sand dunes in the desert, the quality is incredible. It still rolls like its brand new and I can now sell it for quite a lot even used so I will recoup $$ :) Thanks for your input !!

@@travona3696 see I never got into the 4moms things cause I couldn’t justify spending that much on something that doesn’t last long. I’m 1.5 years in and still using the travel system 🤷♀️ I heard mixed reviews about the 4 moms 😅 I did a regular swing that was taller since I had dogs I wanted them to be eye level ! One thing that was a waste for me was the NUNA SENA playpen - quite frankly I never used it and am selling it now lol!

Nice review but this felt more like a review of the car seat than the actual stroller, as for the stroller it was more of an unboxing than a review as you’ve literally never used it before. I haven’t even got this stroller but I already knew that it all folded together (it’s on the website). Kinda underwhelming review.
