No he got a flashback from young ruby asking him that. I doubt he got trauma from taking care of her. More likely he got some trauma from that because he knew that Summer was dead but he couldn’t say that to Ruby.
I have really been enjoying your videos of rwby thoughts I find the humor to be spot on like a window in to personality of the characters
