Thanks, but it would've been helpful if you'd typed it 6:03 so we'd all have the direct link. (It actually starts at 6 03, not 6 30)

im still pretty new to knitting, if you could make a video on how to increase or decrease that would help so much. That part with the thumb is a little difficult to understand.

Simple and elegant pattern!! These were my first knitted gloves and the first time using magic loop and the first time knitting in the round!!
    Too many firsts ig 😂
Idk if it ws just me bt while reading the pattern i got confused abt the stitch marker placement for the increases, another video i watched said to do one increase after the first stitch marker and the next inc b4 the next stitch marker 😊

Thank you for making this tutorial! It is really easy and fast, I'm already on my second pair, my mum loves them!
This was actually the first project I worked increases on, I've been knitting for a few months but increases were just confusing for me, but now I'm getting the hang of it!
I hope you have an amazing time during the last week of the year, greetings from germany❤

Thank you for this! Many of the ladies in the knitting group I attend have been doing this kind of glove and I never could understand how to do the thumb. I love the dainty touch that just one row of ribbing gives the gloves. So clever! This is my next project!!

I started knitting your retro v sweater back in the beginning of November as a present for my mom for Christmas. I finished the body by the end of the mo th and just needed to do the sleeves and finish the neck. But then fell and sprained my ankle pretty badly and was on crutches for three weeks and my hands were pretty bruised from the crutches and couldn’t knit! So as I’m watching this I’m picking up stitches for the sleeves and day dreaming of giving these gloves to her instead of this sweater. REALLY not sure if I’m going to make it in time!! Really cute gloves and will have to make soon. Whether it’s to make for my mom as a back up gift or for myself who knows! Can’t wait to get started.

You also can use cotton yarns to make potholders which is more heat resistant than the normal yarn. I can do all three crafts that you have mentioned. Beautiful works.

Hello! Having made a couple of pairs of these I’ve realised there’s a tiny mistake in the written pattern for row 1 of the thumb increases. Row 1 should be (changes in bold): Knit 1 stitch, M1L, *knit until 1 stitch before marker, M1R, knit 1 stitch, slip marker,* knit to the end of the round.
    Hope this helps!! 🩷

Help, thank you for the pattern, I am a beginner knitter, I have made a pair already but when
I start the increase rounds for the thumb both increases go towards the right 😂
I am knitting a second pair trying not going wrong again, I have undone the increases 4 times and still don’t get it, my M1L and MlR are the same and I do it right, saw many videos on it.
Also is the second increase witch is the M1R il always after SM? Or before?
Thank you so much in advance 🙏

I got stuck on making the increases for the thumb opening - it says "m1l, knit 6, slip marker, m1r"... but the added m1l in the beginning makes it to where knitting 6 doesn't get me to the marker... Do I m1L, knit to marker, slip marker, and THEN m1r...??
