I have Mercury in Leo in the 12th house and it's the ruler of my chart. Sometimes I have a hard time finding words when I am in an argument. And I feel like whenever I am talking I need to be 100% focused on what I am saying or I'll just lose the thread. But on the other hand, I can be very aggressive when I talk, but maybe that is due to my Pluto in the 3rd. Oh and as a child I sucked at school but surprisingly I was and am very good with languages (but maybe it's my Venus in Gem). And you are so right when you say that people speak over you, it's the same for me, I get interrupted a lot and as a Leo Mercury and Sun I do fucking hate that honestly, so I just gently ask the person to let me finish what I need to.
I feel you! I am quite surprised because I have those exacts placements myself, all of them haha! I get interrupted a lot too when I speak, so I tend to speak as fast as I can and it gets confusing... However, I'm glad I have this placement, I take it as a capacity to help others see their light.

I have Mercury in Aries in the 12th house. I'm 29 now and it's only now I've been able to manage and process the nuances regarding communication, appropriately. It's an incredible placement, but comes with a lot of responsibility. We notice things others don't but that doesn't mean we should act on them - or act via emotion because of our intuition - because it leads to frustration and misunderstanding as you rightly said. I believe a huge lesson I've learnt is to think before I speak - and RATIONALISE before acting. The Aries placement doesn't help that, but my Taurus sun calms that down somewhat. ughhh yes my mercury is in libra in 12th house and I lose my train of thought when talking. I can’t remember basic simple words for a min! I talk slow and can’t comprehend how ppl talk so damn fast. On top of it I’m a Virgo so it literally irritates me 😂 Also when studying math it took me so longgggg compared to other ppl bc I needed to break it down to understand what was even going on and why and how.
Amira DUDE YES - mercury in libra as well as my Lilith both in 12th house. Two people this week commented on how slow I talk (thought it was a California thing). I’ve always had trouble communicating -like I don’t say the first thing I picture or see in my mind as my intial most true response or answer and it’s so frustrating. Oh wow you have 12th house Sun and Mercury like me. Mine is in Sagittarius. Double the travel, both external as pilgrimages and retreats, or internal as meditation and contemplation. I expand spiritually through my 'travels'. I'm also great at psychology and mysticism and am learning and teaching Astrology, Palmistry and various other occult modalities in my community at the moment. It seems like the planet of communication will still find ways to communicate in the end!
It also probably helps that I have a mutual reception of Mercury in Sagittarius in the 12th, and my Jupiter in Virgo in the 9th. Talk about looking at the big picture, and the minute details all at the same time!

Moon in Scorpio we should be a team 😆Recently I ve started to enter a master in psy as well, and I helped my friends sort out a lot of their emotional problems but they do say : you have speech problem girl! One of my biggest fear is public speaking I absolutely freeeeeeeze when I m doing that in a classroom or a ceremony. I m already wondering if I should start a podcast or TH-cam channel inviting people for interviews coz my communication works better when it’s in a one on one setting and it just flow.
As a Gemini rising sis you have to get your communication out there. When mercury is in the 12h it doesn’t feel it can speak. So you need to learn to find your voice. Try different ways to do that x

Great video Dr. Honey :) When it comes to the position of Sun, Mercury, Ascendent you and I are very much alike (Taurus Sun and Mercury in the 12th, Gemini raising, Aries on the cusp of the 12th) so I really like the ways you explain things.
In my case, I would say I have no issues with clarity of speech, actually when something needs to be "clarified" I am the one analyzing and then summarizing. I have a very fast mind, IQ>140, I am into exact sciences (mathematician, engineer by education, programmer, analyst as work...) BUT the 12th house issue in my case is that... regardless of the effort and good will that I put in an explanation of a logical concept to others, I have to wait for them to make all the possible mistakes before reaching my conclusions. Then they hate me for being right and for being able to "imagine" or "predict" what would happen by "staring at 1 point for 10 seconds" instead of being proactive in suffering with them for weeks :D . Nevertheless, heuristic analysis, underlying subtle and hidden sources of issues and everything that requires very deep focus are my sources of income.
Fuck I cannot tell you how much I needed to hear this. I have a mercury rx in 12th house of Libra in opposition to Saturn. and squaring Jupiter. I am extremely hard on myself when it comes to how I receive/ process information and very insecure around how others perceive my communication. Though Ive managed to find a platform through teaching yoga I feel a constant state of introverdedness and social situations give me anxiety. Knowing that its okay to process things differently and that It does not mean I am stupid (far from it) but rather I am in tune with the subtleties instead was comforting to hear. Thank you xx
