I love the fact that all of the money is just sitting there out in the open because no one has ever tried to take it before.
When I visited Gibraltar a number of years ago, the security guys didn't use a Brink's truck. They used a shopping cart. The money was all right there. There is no real way to escape with the money, so the security is more relaxed.

Actually it is for not wasting time of searching for a pen. Imagine you want to have a quick signature and a long waiting line and everytime the bankier has to search for the pen because every client might leave it somewhere else or accidently takes it with him. Would you as a manager of a bank say to your client: sorry for waiting 5 minutes for getting your money back from us but we had to find the missing pen.
@@AkariC Well it's part of the Tragedy of the Commons, and the sheer ease with which even a perfectly normal, honest person will unthinkingly walk off with a pen. The chain solves the problem for the bank as well as preventing absent-minded people from accidentally stealing. *A lot of* absent-minded people from accidentally stealing *a lot* of pens.
