I hope my dream can come true because I really want to work there. It is literally my favorite place on this planet. I hope then when Im older I can get a job there. I’m a music theatre student and I want to perform with music. But I’ve long wanted to work with Disney in some capacity for some amount of time. I don’t care if it’s only for a few months and I don’t care if I’m working with food or merchandise and not performing. I am a diehard classic Disney fan and I want to work with one of the best groups on the planet.
You go to an audition. They're very specific. You have to be between 5'4 and 5'7, of a certain body weight and type, be able to memorize and perform dance routines, be able to deliver monologues, and be able to improv.
I have 2 master's degrees and am currently applying for a PhD in Business. But honestly, it's not what I wanted and even though my salary is very good, I am not happy. So reading all those comments here about people saying it's their DREAM to work at Disney, honestly: Go for it! Yolo. No job is really 100% fun anyways, be it sitting in an office or being outside.
I remember when my old co worker got the role of one of the Disney Princesses she was so excited. Allegra I think her name was. At the time she was fired (which was honestly a blessing for her and years later I was fired at my job to) our employer was a jerk anyways. Lol! Now years later I wonder if she’s still working at Disney. This all happened in 2015 I believe. Anyways, I applied for Disney for linen control and my interview is on zoom this Thursday. Never thought I’d want a Disneyland job but it sounds like a lot of fun.
Is Disney a good job once I become 18 and head to college? I’m planning to work at Disneyland because I love that place and I heard they have a program called Disney aspire which pays 100% of your college tuition.
I want to work at Disney part time, I’m in Texas but once I get my medical degree, and get enough money, ima move to Florida to work at Disney, I will be a nurse for the money and Disney for the fun and excitement! Can’t wait

You are just a number to any place of work you will step in. Every single corporation will try to pay you the bare minimum they can get away with. That being said in this economy Disney is still a dream far far away. Not really just 2hrs
I can't tell if this is sarcasm or not. Im assuming its not and just because a cast member can get into the parks for free doesn't mean they should be working for free. Getting into the parks for free is a privilege and it should be earned not just handed to them. Plus the amount of work that these people do for a living to keep Disney run the way its running, I don't think they should be working for free.
I'm thinking of applying once all of this is over. I love disney
Honestly getting paid to be at Disney sounds amazing. Not afraid of work either especially at Disney lol
