Disney was right on the money when they offered you a position. Your young, fresh and adorable. With an obvious sweet personality. I hope you are enjoying your time as a castmember.
I have a feeling she doesn't work at Disney anymore as her "friendship" with the princess was exposed on at least TH-cam and Instagram as well as revealing the audition process
ArcticFoxesRule11 Ooh interesting. (She looks like she's friends with Rapunzel and Anna from seeing her Instagram pictures and the comments from her friends)
Nicole Costanza. Yea I think so too I'm hoping if I get through auditions (We'll when I get a little bit older) I'm hoping to be friends with Elsa or Tinkerbell or Alice (I look a lot like them)
This has hands down been the most informational/best video I've found so far! I have finally, after months of back and forth, decided to audition! I'm planning on auditioning in December for the same types of roles and couldn't be more excited or nervous! So excited to see what your journey has in store for you and hopefully we'll be co-workers soon ;)
Thank you I'm so glad you found it helpful!! You'll NEVER regret auditioning, but you would regret not auditioning. Auditions are so fun even if you don't get it, and it's even better if you do get cast! Feel free to DM me on Instagram any questions at all and hopefully I'll see you there later in the year! Good luck 💕
+Lauren Blodgett In the future I think I will audition because I've been dancing since I was 3 and I love to sing and dance all the time and I love Disney world. But this gave me so much inspiration. And I just subscribed.
I just checked the website and CRIED because I had been waiting forever for a disney audition in New York and working for disney is my DREAM and they finally have an audition for character look alikes ❤️🌸 came back to this video because I adore you and remember watching this and hoping for an audition and now I got one❤️
I was selected for Disneyland in Tokyo and they wouldn't tell me who I was until I got there-unfortunately I never made it there- but the girl who was meant to go instead of me later told me I was going to be CINDERELLA! Freackin cinders-imagine that! x
Oh my gosh I am so happy for you !!, this is like my dream job. I am sixteen and have been planning to audition for a few years now as it would be a plus in my acting career. This has been such a helpfull video and I am so happy that everything worked out for you and I wish you lots of luck you are the perfect Rapunzel xx
As soon as I'm 18 I'm hoping to audition (I'm only 13, but 14 in August). I've been wanting to audition for the longest time and I was scrolling through some audition experiences and this was the best and most helpful video I've found. I honestly can't wait till I'm old enough☺️. Thank you for this super helpful video x
And the experience has come full circle😢 I'm sure there are a lot of people looking back on your journey tonight. Good luck on your new dreams, Lauren💜
You are so blessed girl! I work at WDW MK now which is awesome, but have been auditioning for a face role for what seems like forever now. Ive done 9 auditions and the only reason why I keep trying is that I did get through the first round (based off appearance) at Disneyland (a few years back) and got to apply, so I was on the list, but then never heard back. Since then, I haven't made it past that round. I don't ever give up, but also don't want to keep trying if it's for no reason. Not sure what to do at this point!! Can't do much about my appearance, but I do know I had something they were looking for at one point. Lol . Anyway, congrats on living your dream!
here is a tip for any performances, especially dance and acting... if you mess up, dont make a face! Just keep on smiling and nobody will know you did it:)
Juliana Frith As a dancer, I can confirm that people (especially recruiters or other professionals) will most likely notice your mistake. You’re always supposed to carry on with whatever you’re doing to prove that you’re professional and that you aren’t side tracked by a simple mistake.
Anna is def your doppelganger. From the looks to the personality. All you're missing is the white stripe. My children have always asked me if i could work at Disney. Because as they put it. "I could be best friends with the princesses." Lol. But sadly I can't because I'm way over the age limit. *Im 31* but if given the chance, i so would. Congrats on being accepted there. Hope they keep you for many yrs to come.
She wouldn't be Wendy as Wendy is really small(going along with height things Wendy Alice and tinker bell are the main small ones (I'm going for them on Wednesday!) I definitely think aurora or belle ! X
I'm so happy for you! This was by far one of the most helpful videos I've watched, and believe me I've been watching them all! I can't wait to be able to audition for Disneyland (I would have already but you have to be at least 18 and even though ! graduated high school, I still don't turn 18 until mid-september! Ugh, oh well!) I am going to think of your amazing advice the moment i get an audition!
So interesting! I did an audition recently here in Dublin and made it through the process for Disneyland Paris. Currently in their system and hoping to get an email offering a contract soon but just playing the waiting game now. Around 150 people at my audition and only 15 got through.
Oh I'm so glad I found this video. I've been having mood swing anxiety wondering and worrying what an audition would be like. One day I feel when I go audition, I can and will conquer the world and then other days I feel like 'what am I doing? I won't get through this' Knowing what to expect has helped immensely to bring my anxiety level down! Thanks for the video! 😁
This is such an awesome video as soon as I have also got a part in Disney! i cant say wait i am either but i work at Disney and im so happy you could share your experience mine was nearly the same so that must be a good signs congratulations but the way you must have really blown them away!
Hi LAUREN! So excited for your Disney journey to start! Thanks for the reminder that I need tan jazz shoes for auditions on Friday!!!! HAHA!!!!! See u in November (hopefully!)
Congrats on your audition! I've been to two auditions but was cut. The experience is still great and you make new friends. It was nice to hear your experience. I go to Disney world all the time so maybe I'll see you. You're going to love Orlando.
Do you have to have perfectly straight white teeth too? I currently have braces but I'm getting them off in 1 1/2 - 2 years. I have more questions later on.
I had (and still have) a snaggle tooth when I auditioned and was casted. First time auditioning too! :) Just have "clean" teeth (no food, no visible decay) and you'll be fine!
This was so helpful! I'm can't audition right now but I'm working towards it in the future and this video totally helped me and gave me lots of information. Thank you!
I love this video. Its so informational. I have always wanted to become a Disney cast member and in about three years i can audition and this gives me ideas about going into dance and acting classes. Thanks
Just finished the whole video! Wow congratulations! So happy for you. When you did your animation, did you try to be "a good actor" or just super big and animated? Also did you do any "performance faces" during your dance. I grew up dancing and we would change our faces with our dance. So like smiling, open mouth smiling, winking, etc? Or would you just recommend doing one solid smile. Lol sorry i'm nervous haha.
Congratulations!!! I'm only 14 but I reallllllly want to work at Disney World as a face character (I think I look a lot like Anna) . As soon as I turn 18 Ill audition. Thanks for the inspiration!!
this made me cry im so happy for you!! i just love disney so much, good luck to you for the future i hope you have an amazing time!! and maybe i'll even spot you because im going to disney on october 8th!!
I want to audition but I'm kind of scared. Being on your own after you've been depended for your whole life? That's scary! I'd miss my family but I'd learn so much!
You meet sooo many people in the same situation. You end up with a Disney family. :) And believe me, everyone and their mother will come visit you at Disney World!
Congrats💕my guess is definitely Anna. As soon as I clicked on the video the first thought that came to my head was that u look exactly like her lol💕 hope u have a great experience and good luck💕💕
Your so pretty and it's my dream to audition but I'm not old enough yet I just don't want to move from my family but it's Disney duh! I can't wait till I'm old enough!! Your totally "friends with Anna or Rapunzel"
lmao youtube just recommended this for me so I thought i'd drop by and say you're precious and congrats on getting hired at disney (lol) and I'll see you in 2 months for the CRUISE!!
I think it's awesome that you got the part! I'm 18 too and I wish I could be able to do this. Sadly, I don't live close to Florida or California and I'm going to college this fall. Good luck being a Disney princess you'll enjoy it:)
You are so lucky! I really want to audition but I’m curious as to what the dress sizing is like for the princesses. Like what size were you and what sizes did you see there?
My daughter is 13 and really interested in becoming friends with some of your friends as well. What advice would you give her? She is in choir and theater arts in middle school now but not any dance. Thanks!
Every time I check the Disney audition website there's only auditions for maybe 2 characters. Can anyone show up and be casted as someone else? Are there specific auditions that allow you to be open to anyone like yours or are all auditions the same?
You're definitely friends with Elsa and Rapunzel, because they were the two they asked you to read for and because you chose to play songs from Frozen and Tangled in the background
Congrats! I'm thinking of working for Disney and I wanted to do a full year but I can't move down to Florida . Do you know if they provide housing or if u have to rent an apartment off site?
When I was casted they relocated me for $1,500. I had to sign a one year contract for a full-time character performer position. No housing was provided but I first started by renting a room in a house ($425/month all included) in the Windermere area (behind magic kingdom) and then 6 months later, I moved to a house with other disney cast members I made friends with ($400/month + utilities).
agh, i cant wait to audition... still gotta wait at least four years, but im almost there, lol!! i really want to get the opportunity to play rapunzel (she's my absolute favorite), elsa, ariel, or anna, or a combination of a few of them!! its my dream; this is super encouraging, thank you!! :)
This is awesome. My daughter had an audition with them tonight y’all wish us luck please 😍
7 ปีที่แล้ว
thank you so much for this video!! i live in california and i'm going to audition for a six month contract with hong kong disneyland on may 8 :) i'm so scared but i've been wanting to do this as long as i can remember so i'm really excited!
Hey Lauren I have a quick question, I auditioned for Disney in Orlando 2 days ago and I made it all the way through and got measured for the shoulders, chest, and waist what is the next step?
Anyone who's shorter than 5'3 would be Alice, a fairy, peterpan, Wendy, or any younger/ shorter character. Anyone on the taller end of the scale would most likely be a villain and people in the middle (5'5, 5'4) would be most likely selected for princesses
I love your videos!! I am auditioning soon for dcp fall 2017. I fit height, body type, and I feel confident in my acting skills. But I'm curious... do you think freckles would hold me back from being picked? I'm pretty freckly but it's not over whelming and easily covered with foundation. I would love to know your opinion!
Thank you for sharing this info! I have to ask some things... What kinds of things did you put on you resume? I do not mean to be nosy, but I wanna know if it is necessary to have academic dancing/singing/acting education or you could just have a not known teacher who is really good and taught you the things you need to know... Also, is there any way to practice for the audition? What excersises would you recommend?
I just put all of my theatre/dance/singing experience as well as some academic achievements and work experience. Just basic dance classes would help a lot!
If I were to meet an actor or actress I would pic Emma Watson! I just realised we have a LOT in common! WE SHARE THE SAME BIRTHDAY!!! And we both love books! That’s why i would be belle as a Disney character
Also, I've watched a lot of these videos, as I'm audition soon, and I heard that most people are required to be a fur character and go through that training before they could be their face character, is that true? Does it depend on what type of audition you go to? Thanks :)
Yes you have to do fur first no matter what! Sometimes it takes 2 weeks before you are trained on face, and I know girls who it took 3 months. It just depends, but you always have to do fur first.
100 people? I wish! I live in Orlando and the auditions will have like 400 people usually it's so hard to get picked because theirs so much more competition :(
I believe my audition had close to 400. I stood up front and in the middle as often as possible to be noticed. I made it to the last round at the Hong Kong auditions and I was all the way on the side the entire time. I do believe your energy and confidence can take you a long way. :)
Some people are just lucky they are born looking like a Disney princess
Disney was right on the money when they offered you a position. Your young, fresh and adorable. With an obvious sweet personality. I hope you are enjoying your time as a castmember.
You are too kind thank you!!!
I have a feeling she doesn't work at Disney anymore as her "friendship" with the princess was exposed on at least TH-cam and Instagram as well as revealing the audition process
@@LawnBunny777 Probably not since the contract was only for a year, more so than that.
Based on your freckles and personality I'm guessing you're friends with Rapunzel and Anna.
Yeahhhhh
I was thinking the same
I think friends with Anna because she was playing "the first time in forever"
She is! You can tell if you go on her instagram.
More like Merida. She looks almost exactly like a real-life version of her.
I love how they say 'characters you will be friends with'! That's so cute!
if someone says "I'm friends with Rapunzel" for example does that mean that's the character they're playing?
Nicole Costanza. Yep!
ArcticFoxesRule11 Ooh interesting. (She looks like she's friends with Rapunzel and Anna from seeing her Instagram pictures and the comments from her friends)
Nicole Costanza. Yea I think so too I'm hoping if I get through auditions (We'll when I get a little bit older) I'm hoping to be friends with Elsa or Tinkerbell or Alice (I look a lot like them)
emma isabella. How tall do you have to be? When I was eleven i was the tallest girl in my class (my class included a lot of tall kids also)
You are definitely a princess young lady. You carry yourself with dignity and poise. Disney is lucky to have hired you. You remind me of my daughters.
This has hands down been the most informational/best video I've found so far! I have finally, after months of back and forth, decided to audition! Huge congratulations. This was so informative! I hope to stop by to see Anna and maybe Punzie one day! Xxx
Ellie Steadman OMG ELLIE!!! I love your videos girl😍👍🏻
i love your videos ellie!
he probably had you "grow" because 5'3.5" isn't a height they cast for but 5'4" is
4:58 the animations are the scariest part for me. I can't picture it in my head
I was selected for Disneyland in Tokyo and they wouldn't tell me who I was until I got there-unfortunately I never made it there- but the girl who was meant to go instead of me later told me I was going to be CINDERELLA! Freackin cinders-imagine that! x
The music is kinda distracting me away from what you’re saying
Can u guys please pray for me ,I am going to the audition in 31 August .
Nurul2684 khatun you got this good luck my magical friend
Nurul2684 khatun bless ur sooooouuuulllll

You totally look like Ariel as well!!
Aw thank you! Thanks for watching!

Your either Anna or Rapunzel. When I'm 18 I'm trying out for a Disney princess role. I think I look like a jasmin. But idk. Happy for you though 😊
Slime_lovers 101 Check her Insta for hints ;)
We go back to WDW in April 2017... Hope to see your "friend". What a dream come true.
My guess is Anna...and maybe Rapunzel.
Oh wait... Maybe Merida. Certainly Anna, though.

Oh my goodness! Congratulations! You are so fresh & gorgeous!!!! Great video I subbed :):)
Thank you so much Leah!! I appreciate that ❤️
You're very welcome girl! xo
I think she's either Aurora, Rapunzel, Ariel, or Wendy
I was thinking 100% Belle... lol. I could definitly see her as those tho
+Wolfia Love even if she is she has to wear a wig even if she has blonde or red hair like the characters so you can't look at the hair color
Ariana Farnsworth or anna
She wouldn't be Wendy as Wendy is really small(going along with height things Wendy Alice and tinker bell are the main small ones (I'm going for them on Wednesday!) I definitely think aurora or belle ! X
Its on her instagram but she's Anna and Repunzel :)
Your teeth are so perfect I can't stop looking at them °-°
Of course she is „friends with“ Anna and Rapunzel 😂☺️ it’s so obvious☺️😊♥️
I'm so happy for you! This was by far one of the most helpful videos I've watched, and believe me I've been watching them all! Thank you Maggie! I'm so happy it helped you! Best of luck with your audition, you will do amazing, let me know how it goes once you turn 18! 💕
So interesting! I did an audition recently here in Dublin and made it through the process for Disneyland Paris. Currently in their system and hoping to get an email offering a contract soon but just playing the waiting game now. Around 150 people at my audition and only 15 got through.
So awesome! I'm pretty sure she's Elsa. She totally looks like a very happy Elsa! 💙
I tried out for master chef jr. On fox and got 3 callbacks so I was at the last round. Sadly I did not get in 😒
Oh I'm so glad I found this video. 😁

Hi LAUREN! So excited for your Disney journey to start! Thanks for the reminder that I need tan jazz shoes for auditions on Friday!!!! HAHA!!!!! See u in November (hopefully!)

+Lauren Blodgett It wasn't a big deal not getting it. I pretty much went for the experience like you did. I have met the best people there.
I love your eyelashes !!
Thanks!
I love how disney songs are playing in the background!
Just seen this video and now I can’t help but wonder who you were!!! You look a lot like belle!
Do you have to have perfectly straight white teeth too? I currently have braces but I'm getting them off in 1 1/2 - 2 years. I have more questions later on.
No, definitely not perfect, but good teeth and a nice smile are always a plus!
I had (and still have) a snaggle tooth when I auditioned and was casted. First time auditioning too! :) Just have "clean" teeth (no food, no visible decay) and you'll be fine!
I think you look like a belle? Congratulations, I am so jealous of you, you are so gorgeous and you will suit any role 😍❤️
Thank you so much!! 😘💕
This was so helpful! I'm can't audition right now but I'm working towards it in the future and this video totally helped me and gave me lots of information. Thank you!

Ashley Somebody hey ya gotta leave the nest eventually! It's okay to be nervous, but don't let that hold you back from pursuing your dreams!
You meet sooo many people in the same situation. You end up with a Disney family. :) And believe me, everyone and their mother will come visit you at Disney World!
Youre inspiring me so much :D I really want to audition when I´ve finished school :) Thanks for sharing your story!

Congrats! I'm thinking of working for Disney and I wanted to do a full year but I can't move down to Florida . Do you know if they provide housing or if u have to rent an apartment off site?
They do not provide housing unless you are in the Disney College Program, and you still have to pay for it.
Lauren Blodgett do they offer you money for relocation?? Is it reasonable money to move ?

So exciting!
I want to audition when I get out of collegiate but was really nervous but this made me feel better thank you so much
Im auditioning in 2 weeks and so nervous... but very excited.... this video has been so helpful ❤

agh, i cant wait to audition... still gotta wait at least four years, but im almost there, lol!! i really want to get the opportunity to play rapunzel (she's my absolute favorite), elsa, ariel, or anna, or a combination of a few of them!! its my dream; this is super encouraging, thank you!! :)
Thank you Mikayla! Time will fly by, I'm glad I was able to help!
aw, you're welcome!! i'll make sure to come back to this video years from now if i get the job and write about how much it helped me, haha!! :)
Once i heard the music i couldn't unhear it... ahhh I miss frozen
This is awesome. My daughter had an audition with them tonight y’all wish us luck please 😍
thank you so much for this video!! i live in california and i'm going to audition for a six month contract with hong kong disneyland on may 8 :) i'm so scared but i've been wanting to do this as long as i can remember so i'm really excited!
This story Is truly amazing it warms my heart
The moment I saw your face I was like: *ANNA*
Hey Lauren I have a quick question, I auditioned for Disney in Orlando 2 days ago and I made it all the way through and got measured for the shoulders, chest, and waist what is the next step?
Anyone who's shorter than 5'3 would be Alice, a fairy, peterpan, Wendy, or any younger/ shorter character. Anyone on the taller end of the scale would most likely be a villain and people in the middle (5'5, 5'4) would be most likely selected for princesses
Lauren said she was 5'3 or 5'3 1/2 and they made her 2 princesses. (The girl in this video obviously)
Yes but I'm saying that you have more of a chance to become a princess if you're more in the middle of the height scale
Peachy What if I'm 5'3? Will they measure me as the same exact height or down to 5'2 or to 5'4?
They will measure you exactly as you are and might take you up to 5'4.
This is my dream ahhhhhhh congratulations!!!
oh my gosh! I can't believe you know Zoe! I met her in 2014 for a competition!
Chase Payne ya I live with her! Hahaha
Ahh! You're living my dream right now. I just found you this morning and im in love with your channel now :)
based on the music in the background, and your facial structure, my guess is that one of them is anna..
great job your going to be amazing and Rapunzel and Ariel
I love your videos!!
I am auditioning soon for dcp fall 2017.
I fit height, body type, and I feel confident in my acting skills. But I'm curious... do you think freckles would hold me back from being picked? I'm pretty freckly but it's not over whelming and easily covered with foundation. I would love to know your opinion!
Jaycie Dunbar definitely not! Freckles are alright :)
Am I the only one who sees Anna in her? ( the freckles , hair and eyes?) 😂
I do too!
i see it too
Definitely Anna
Totally 👍🏻
Also, I've watched a lot of these videos, as I'm audition soon, and I heard that most people are required to be a fur character and go through that training before they could be their face character, is that true? Does it depend on what type of audition you go to? Thanks :)
Yes you have to do fur first no matter what! Sometimes it takes 2 weeks before you are trained on face, and I know girls who it took 3 months. It just depends, but you always have to do fur first.
Is that your real freckle pattern?! It's amazing!
100 people?
Definitely think one character is Ariel I’m not sure about the other one tho. Maybe Snow White?
congrats! hopefully i can succsede just like you i will be auditioning too!
I have to say I had to fight back to urge to start singing the songs from frozen in the background
