    Hi man I watched your coolant refill video and wanted to know what air compressor you used?

    I just started watching your channel and commenting. I'm running with a different cam, the currently smallest one available on the market. It fits behind the mirror and is normally not visible from either driver's side or passenger's side seat. Although picture is HD only. But my intend use is for potential accidents only. It's audio would record, if I read out the license plate.

    This video hits close to home. I'm a previous user of the A129 Pro Duo. It's what I've used to make a lot of my videos. I've never tested it, but I was very happy with it. I haven't had too many issues getting plate numbers unless it was too far away or at night. My headlights would overexpose the plates if they were too close. The camera records in 4k, and I post my videos in 4k, though, while editing my software, it takes the quality down while editing. When don, I produce the videos in 4k. Is it possible you're not saving your videos in a 4k format?
    I've also pitched a collaborative idea to Viofo. They offered to send me a 2k setup. I asked for the A229, and they never got back to me, lol. I decided to buy the same items you have there except the hardwire kit for my next vehicle. I haven't even opened the box yet, lol. Thanks for this comparison video bro.

      The only thing I didn't get to try was increasing the bitrate. Actually noticed that after, but these were the settings that it was set to out of the box. I'm not sure bitrate would make it much more clear.

      @@kern417 Per Blackbox My Car where I referenced recommended settings for my A139 Pro, “A high bitrate may improve video quality and smoothness, particularly when recording fast motion or high contrast scenes. The amount of recording time available on your memory card may be reduced if you use high bitrate mode. Using a low bitrate saves space and allows you to record for longer periods of time.” Basically, if you’re not using a higher bitrate, you’re handicapping the image quality in comparison to a dashcam that uses a higher default bitrate. I actually run max bitrate with a 512GB micro SD card.

      @@97Chebbie agree with what u said above ....to unleash the full potential of A229 PRO is very simple disconnect the interior cam and only left the rear and main camera and set the bitrate to 60mbps front and that will improve alots on quality ....."bigger memory card will be required as it reduce ur recording times .......also upgrade Firmware to the latest might help too!!

    hi a quick question ik it's not relevant but: is the use of mhd antilag possible on a stock m140i that still has its catalytic converter since where I'm from a cat is required. is it possible at all to run any form of antilag with a car that still has a cat or hi flow cat?

    • @AMS611
      @AMS611 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      It’s not impossible. The issue is not that you can’t make antilag work with cats; the issue is that antilag in general is so damaging to a stock turbo/cat setup that you’re essentially committing to a lot of expense for no/minimal gain

    • @AMS611
      @AMS611 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      The heat and pressure generated by running antilag with a cat in place would destroy your cat and would likely damage your turbo, and potentially your rings/pistons/etc

    • @kern417
      @kern417  หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Ditto what he said. It can cause your cat to fail so if you are aware of that, you can use it.

      @@AMS611 would it be possible to move the hi flow cat further back in the exhaust system and use a less aggressive setting of antilag to reduce possibility of cat damage?

      I forgot to add this is for a big turbo setup
