Yes, definitely. However like I said, I play mainly indies on the Steam Deck and usually are close to a power outlet or have battery bank with me so power is no problem 😁
Hopefully DeckHD comes up with a slim bezzel which i would definitely buy, I can't spend anymore money for a new Deck OLED, money is not an issue but waste is an issue lol. And i Subscribed! :P
100% this. Not to mention you have to flash their modified BIOS every time Valve releases updates and there's no guarantee that they'll have an updated BIOS available immediately, lol.
Like i said in the video, i play indies and games such as Neon Abyss, Dead Cells, Binding of Isaac on this one and so far so good. If i want to play something thats reliant on FPS, i will do it on the Ally or Legion Go. So far the games i play on this looks great and i havent had any problems really with FPS @@Deathscythe91
@@Deathscythe91 Why is it pointless lol? If someone wants to install a higher resolution screen so what? And he didnt say anything about it giving extra FPS? By "power" im sure hes referring to an external battery for longer playtime while not docked/plugged in.
That screen looks gorgeous
It really is. From not using my Steam Deck at all lately, it feels a bit more up to date and interesting to use again. Can only recommend this update!
It's amazing however the battery life is going to drop faster compared to the stock screen... Higher res equates to higher battery consumption.

Thanks buddy! It would be great to see something with a thinner bezel but I believe they might be on to other things :/
1200p on a steam deck has to be one of the most pointless handheld upgrades
Not if you're like me, play all the handhelds with extra power close. This screen looks really good
@@TheAllyGaming extra power dont give the steam deck more fps
