Hi Rodney! I love your "How To Play" series, it helped me a lot with many titles. Would there be a chance for you to make How To Play on base Alhambra game in the future? Have a great time!
My choice of saying "any tile with that number" was meant to imply "all", but I should have just SAID all... because any can also imply a choice. To be clear: the effect causes you to place the hazard on ALL tiles with that number.
Can the Environmental Inspector development card be used at the beginning on a players turn before rolling like you may with a knight card with the robber in classic Catan? Thus moving the inspector before rolling? Yhe viseo did not seem to indicate this. Thanks for a great video!
Can you trigger more than 1 event per turn if you are in the 6-18 range? Also how many brown events are initially in the bag? Its very similar to the original but altering a few extra conditions in order to win Great review
The 6-18 range shows 1 event token, so you draw 1 event. I don't recall how many start in the bag. At 3 minutes in you should get a rough idea from what's showing on screen. Thanks for checking out the video!
Spending energy to demolish a fossil fuel power plant. The rule just says to demolish a plant of your choosing, doesn’t say it has to be yours… my thought process here is that this lowers the GF and benefits the whole board, not just you… thoughts? Or does it HAVE to be one of YOUR FF power plants?
For the warehouse, what does the gray piece with an X symbol over it mean once you built it? Is that supposed to mean that you are unaffected by the gray meeple if its on a space with one of your cities (meaning you produce resources even if its on a resource space one of your cities or towns in on) and people can't steal cards from you with the gray meeple, etc.? Thought I ask since that part of the warehouse wasn't explained in the video.
You’ll find it explained at 28:50. Those icons on the flipped warehouse represent the benefit of the warehouse that is explained during that segment. Unless you’re referring to something else? Let me know, if so.
@@WatchItPlayed At 28:50, the warehouse token shows the environment inspector crossed out with an X symbol. Does that mean that players can't steal cards from you with the environment inspector, or is that part of the "you don't discard cards unless you have more than 10 resource/science cards?" I can't tell if that's all part of 1 thing.
Interesting version of the classic. As always, well explained!
Thank you kindly!
Very well explained. I hadn’t heard of this new Catan, so thank you!
You're very welcome!
Fantastic explanation. Thank you
You're very welcome!
Great video. Love the example of trade.
That's how people trade with me... always trying to get just a LITTLE something more!
Just acquired game so first port of call as usual. Love the shirt. 😅
Thank you kindly!

an expansion with trains would be cool
Thanks for your amazing reviews!!!
Very glad you've enjoyed the videos!
7:52 Does the hazard token get placed on both 8's, or can the player choose which one gets the bad news?

@@lvlancer2010 You can’t demolish another player’s stuff, only your own. Hope that helps!
i notice that this game has almost all the rules for the original Catan. Does this game come with a quick start guide for experienced Catan players?
I don't have the rules handy right now to check that for you, sorry!
Is there a particular order in which you pick up renewable powerplants when you build?
Nope! They all have the same effects underneath them, so the order doesn't matter.
