- Just two days after Secret Service director Kimberly Cheatle testified before Congress about the attempted assassination of former president Donald Trump, and one day after she officially resigned from her position, representatives are hearing from FBI director Christopher Wray about his agency’s investigation. Director Wray revealed more details about the shooter’s movements and apparent research before July 13, when he fired multiple shots toward President Trump, hitting him in the ear and killing one civilian. You realize that the “collapsible stock” is not, in fact “collapsible”, but adjustable. There is only about 4” of adjustment. It doesn’t significantly reduce the length of the rifle. And it appears that the rifle is a 20” barreled model, not really very compact.

The fact the rifle had a collapsible stock isn't surprising at all. It is a standard feature and only changes the length by a few inches (for someone who has a standard length of pull anyway).
