First of all I must say I am truly sorry for what has happened to you. We should not be enduring this type of behaviour.
However! The fact that you weren't given an apology just goes to show that none of us are safe when we comes up against Border Force Agents or the police.
It is in their DNA to treat us with disrespect & contempt. We hear all about all this diversity, but racism is still raging especially if you are BLACK.
After they had the scan result, that was not enough so they still had to have an extra ounce of flesh by creating the ultimate humiliation.

It would indeed be a good idea for Deezer to consider filing a report. Reporting the incident to the appropriate authorities can help initiate an investigation and potentially hold those responsible accountable for their actions. It's important for her to document all the details of the incident and gather any evidence or witnesses that can support her case. She should contact the relevant law enforcement agency, airport authorities, or customs officials to inquire about their procedures for reporting such incidents and seek their guidance on how to proceed. Additionally, Deezer may want to consult with a legal professional who can provide advice and support throughout the process. UTTERLY DISGRACEFUL WHAT DEEZER EXPERIENCED!!!

I don't think the airport had anything to do with the behavior of UK border agents. The UK government is the employer of these agents and if a lawsuit can be filed, it would be against UK immigration (whatever that government agency is called). As humiliating as this lady's experience has been, I am afraid she doesn't have a case because there are hundreds of passengers who have this experience daily at airports across the world. It will be difficult to prove discrimination.

I don't understand why these people hate black people like they do. They hate us with a passion, and they are the first to jump on planes to go on holiday. I really would like to know why. I don't know how long it will take for you to come term with your ordeal, but I pray that you do sooner rather than later and take legal action. You continue to stay safe. It happens to us around the world. I live in London but own a house in Orlando. I travelled there with my missus for her birthday and we intended to stay there for 3 weeks.
After 7 days I saw an advert for a 4 day all inclusive deal to travel to Mo Bay in Jamaica staying at the DeCameron hotel. I purchased it as a further present for my missus.
We drove from Orlando to Miami international and parked in the airport garage. Our flight was 59 minutes. I picked up my luggage and realised the case had been opened. These was a message in there from US customs saying my bag had been searched whilst in transit. They broke the lock and did not replace it. I flew back to the US 4 days later and this time I was given an ‘enhanced’ search. Nothing found.
Flew back to London 10 days later. Almost exactly the same same thing occurred but I actually stood my ground and told them that they do not understand the law. My missus stood there quietly for a moment.
She asked to speak to their senior as a ‘matter of urgency’. The staff were rude and confrontational. They claimed to be acting on ‘intelligence’. I have never smoked, drunk or taken drugs and have never been arrested for things like that.
The senior official arrived and my missus said that she wants a word in private. 5 minutes later the official returned and ordered my release.
I wonder if it had anything to do with the fact that my wife was a senior crown prosecutor for the CPs.
I didn’t object to being stopped. I objected to the nastiness displayed from them. They revel in degrading black people.

I can relate to your concerns.... I had a similar experience but not as bad because I stood my ground and refuse to comply when they wanted to do a cavity serch...... everything else was similar to your experience..... the full search the scans and no explanation. They then say we can't find evidence or trce of anything so they need me to sign a concent form authorisation for them to do a cavity search.
I boldly refuse and make it clear that under no circumstances would I concent to any intrusion on my body parts.
I also made it clear that if anyone try to in invade my person I will need a lawyer present and I will seek legal redress and they will need a good reason signed by a judge.
They kept me there for another then conceded and let me go ...... I demanded a explanation a d got it because they could search for a million years and they would not be able to associate me with any thingies that.
They did explain that they had been watching someone that I spoke to at the airport while waiting in the lounge in Jamaica and associated them with me.
So the point that you raised about that they already know who they want to check at arrivals is correct.
The lesson learnt and advice given is ,........... DONT TALK TO STRANGERS WHEN FLYING ANYWHERE..
Now I go through and get my bags searched every time I travel even when going through notting to declare and I am content with it.
My sympathy go out to you for the ordeal you went through.

As soon as you said they stripped you down to your bra & you were about to take it off I felt the tears welling up inside me. They’d see another side of me that day. They’d have to arrest my claat. Because there’s NO WAY somebody that’s not my doctor or my man is going to strip me down & skin me out!!! The fucking audacity of these people! I’d take it further just so that the protocol can be updated. Not EVERYONE is guilty. Even prisoners have more rights. Do it for others. It’s not for you.

They breached the Data Protection Act 2018 - asking you personal questions in a public setting with so many people around you, they broke this rule: “Personal Data should be handled in a way that ensures appropriate security, including protection against unlawful or unauthorised processing, access, loss, destruction or damage”. Get yourself a good lawyer…

Hi Deezer, I am so sorry you had to experience this ordeal, I travelled 3 times to Jamaica since August and was never stopped by customs, that was definitely the person from your community that reported you just to be vindictive. If you were to complain they will only send you the guidance which probably states that they were doing their job. People can be so wicked, this brought tears to my eyes. ❤

They did the same to my friends when we were at university. They were coming back to LHR from St Martin having traveled to Antigua 2 months before. They were arrested and taken to hospital to be x-rayed, they were given laxative so they can boo. These people were so sure that they were carrying, it was as if they were disappointed that they didn’t find anything on them. Customs held them until 11pm at night, their flight arrived at 7am. Meanwhile, the real smugglers got through. I feel it for you some people are so wicked and bad mind.

Girl, this is the 1st time Ive seen you. I was rivited to your story. I commend you for the way you handled yourself. I know I probably would have exploded half way through all those questions. They were determined to find wat you didn't have.
May God give you de strent to sue de daylight outta dem. Don't let dem get wey wid it. It does seem like they were tipped off, so was sure you had something. De question is by who? Clearly done out of spite Hope you find out.

So sorry about the horrible ordeal you went through. I think it was brave of you to share with us. I think an immigration attorney or attorney should look into what remedy can be afforded to you for what you went through. Too many black people are "afraid" to be like David versus Goliath. We need to be fearless. The woman officer who singled you out needs to be addressed. Think of the other black women she did the same thing to. Folks, when we travel, please (1. travel light (2. Answer questions clearly and very short (3. Ask if you're being detained and "why" are you being detained (4. Ask for names (or memorize as many names as possible). (5. Ask if we are being recorded (so that you can get a copy in the future via your attorney (6. If they plan to search you, ask to be SCANNED first before the body cavity search (this can help later in your defense as to whether this was a process or a personal attempt to embarrass you (7. As best as you can, try to avoid being emotional, these officer hope that you do get emotional, because we tend to make mistakes in our responses that way (8. if you are made to sign any document, then sign and add "signed under duress" before your signature.... and finally to Deeza, I am hoping that over time, my sister Deeza, that you will get back on the "horse" and travel anywhere you want including the UK. Leave this ugly memory behind. Best regards.

Thanks for this response and for sharing and giving advice to people on how to conduct themselves in this situation, questions to ask etc..
My cousin went through the similar experience and ordeal at Heathrow.. but the attack on her was more fierce and brutal and personal ! She was young , education with a good job and this white man didn't hold back nor hid his intent to humiliate her..
He even destroyed her African carvings she bought by drilling holes through the faces of them , took his pen and stir through her makeups and cosmetics and other liquids rendering them unusable.. it was a lot to go through for a 22 yr old .. but she reported her experience and had a lot of paper and media exposure..
