God wants you to do THIS in the WAITING season...

The waiting season isn’t meant for you to just sit around and get complacent and wait. It’s for you to PREPARE. And the question is what are we supposed to do when God is making us wait?
In Psalms, it says "Be still and let God." Meaning let God do HIS part in working the future so you don’t have to… and either way you won’t be able to. Your anxiety now is not changing the future, it’s only causing you to suffer what you fear for the future, in the present.
Now with that being said in this waiting season, God will bless you when He sees that you’re prepared for opportunity.
Being prepared for opportunity means your character, YOU as a whole are prepared. God looks at who you are NOW to determine whether you’re ready or not, not who you were yesterday. I used to think that this waiting season was an opportunity for me to sit back and go back to my old habits for a little bit until God was ready to bless me. And that’s when I found out that this jumping in and out of complacency was causing God to delay my blessings.
God doesn’t make you wait just for the sake of waiting. Even if it seems like nothing is going on or you’re just living in a cycle, there’s something WITHIN that period that God wants you to see. It could be a test of your patience, and your faith, it could be a sign for you to keep SEEKING God.
