1,000 children showing up too early: UNEXPECTED. That smile on your face when you hit the last chords and know that it may cause tons of goosebumps for them: PRICELESS.
As a teen I used to go to a roller rink to skate to live organ music. The organist was perched on a stage above the skaters at her organ and played all kinds of catchy tunes. There is nothing quite so thrilling as feeling that music! My grandpa taught me to play and i have enjoyed a lifelong love of this instrument.
1,000 kids were loud! Unless you've been there you wouldn't know how hard it is to fill the RAH with sound. I thank God for you Anna and the joy you bring to others. Hoping to hear you play next month if there's still tickets.
I used to play in a barn dance band and for kids events we'd invariably get some overprotective parent making us turn down the volume to protect their precious darlings' hearing 😱. Then there'd be a singalong song and Concorde at full power would have had a hard time being heard over the screams! 😂
I just LOVE You so totally much!!! U R mega talented AND kind hearted as well, wow! THANK You for looking out for our future organists! I’m a huge fan of you, clearly & I wanted to tell ya real quick. All good energy to U. The world needs U! Blessings & all that good stuff. 🎼🗣️🎵💕🎶💕🎵🎶💕🎵🎶🎵💕🎶💕🤩
Oh sweetie what a gift you are Keep making the world smile I can't get enough of your beautiful abilities Best thing to happen to me on 65 years of being on this planet God bless you
You probably created a handful of new organists. For most of us, our love affair with the organ came after hearing a large pipe organ, being passionately played at FULL ORGAN, and thereafter chasing the ecstasy of that sound for the rest of our lives.
Wow!!! The power of music. Just undeniable. That impromptu performance will have such a positive ripple effect on so many people we have no idea how far that will go. FYI. Goosebumps when I listen to you play this.
I got to invite some (smaller) organ playing kids up to play the big Reiger organ at Pacific Union College Church (biggest west of the Mississippi I think?) (and I don't play the organ, but I was the tech director in charge for a big Asian church convention, and I had the keys to the organ ;) ) They were up with their parents after a meeting looking at it while I was clearing the stage, and I asked if they knew enough to be able to play it (it's almost as formidable looking as this RAH organ), and the brother and sister (probably early teens) hopped up on the bench and looked at it for a few minutes figuring out the stops and such, and were confident they could play it, and I could tell that they were careful and respectful and probably really good (did I mention they were Korean American kids? Lol), and so I handed them the key and their eyes got big. So I don't know what their future in organ playing is, but they can always say that some weird white guy let them play the Reiger organ. And while they were playing I was talking to their mom (this was before everyone would have been recording it on their phones lol), and I found out that she had played organ as well, but then had kids and gave it up, so I told her she should get up and play too, but she demurred, but I recruited her kids to help, and we finally about dragged her up, and she did great! It's fun giving people bits of dreams come true like that ;)
What a SUPERB Combination The Finest most Powerful Instrument played by the Supremely Talented, Charismatic, On Trend but Humble Musician, WELL DONE Anna ☺️
YES!!! Plant the seeds!!! I teach early childhood music and it is one of the absolute joys of my life!!! ❤❤❤ I love to show them your music Anna! Their faces when they experience it 😂😂😂😮😮😮
As a young teen who just loves organ and recently started playing, this was a great idea and I hope there are more organists to come just because of you!!! Your videos are awesome 👍 You are awesome and I hope some day I can be like you!!!! 🎉
My daughter's first instrument was a piano then cello then to Interlochen Arts Academy and took up Organ, "cuz it was cool." Thank you for introducing the kids to organ and its performance. ❤
Anna, I just returned from 5 lovely days in London. I wanted to come by the Royal Albert and maybe meet you, but schedule just wouldn't allow for it. We did sing at All Souls Langham church (next to BBC). What a wonderful experience!!!
Of course the answer is yes! I started playing piano when I was 7 and began organ at 16. I'm quite good with the piano and still sadly rudimentary at the organ, but I can play hymns for a congregation and that's far better than not at all!
I just want to know how does one get to learn the great pipe organ with how expensive and rare they are 🙁 I’ve wanted to learn one for years but can’t find the avenues too
My grandson was there to sing in the choir he could not stop talking about the organ playing and how brilliant it was Thank you

Please can you play ,also sprach Zarathustra? That would be nice 👍🇱🇺
Love your work
I play keyboard and piano, I some day, even if it’s for just 2 minutes, want play and full size organ. That would just be so cool
Of course the answer is yes! I started playing piano when I was 7 and began organ at 16. I'm quite good with the piano and still sadly rudimentary at the organ, but I can play hymns for a congregation and that's far better than not at all!

Give them a short blast of Widor's Toccata
Partner said you're very welcome to take his lot for an hour. He suggests you wear helmet and other body protection. Otherwise, they're lovely.

There's a bit more here: th-cam.com/video/XpLaKdi_lT0/w-d-xo.html
Could you please post your version of Whiter Shade of Pale?
You are one of my 3 favorite organists. The other 2 are Jelani Eddington and Jonathan Scott.
How to move minds and hearts and emotions with the organ.
Definitely organ here
We L❤VE you!!!
Yippee.
I just want to know how does one get to learn the great pipe organ with how expensive and rare they are 🙁 I’ve wanted to learn one for years but can’t find the avenues too
This is great
I would like to hear blakes7 theme on that puppy
Inspired. But can you play Tico Tico? Have fun with it. Ever heard of Ethel Smith?
Which piece was it ?
Part of How to train your dragon
Thank you Daniel 😎👍🏻
What piece? 😊
I think it's from how to train your dragon.
I’m bummed Niall didn’t take advantage of the organ when he performed
