  • Audio Feedback issue cause by Honda Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). This video is of a 2012 Honda Accord Cross tour. If you are installing a aftermarket subwoofer into any Honda made after 2011, you will probably have a feedback issue cause by the ANC system. This video should help you solve that problem. You can only test if all the doors are closed and the car running. If your vehicle has a bluetooth system, you must keep the front plug in and unplug the center microphone and rear microphone.

The blue plug has nothing to do with the ANC system,it is plugged into the compass module. The compass well not work with it unplugged.

Hi my 2011 Crosstour just would not start at all. I got a jump and let it run for 20 mins. While sitting in yhe car a big sound of combustion was let out of the car and steam or smoke cane out of the back. What could that be? No icons on dashboard are lit up.

I’m not a mechanic, I would suggest contacting your local honda mechanic as this video is only about the audio in Crosstour. Best of luck

Some of the newer cars you can turn off the noise cancelation at the radio (headunit) itself. We have notice some of the Honda vehicles do not have the noise cancelation in the vehicle. How you can tell is if you hookup your aftermarket subwoofers and the when the bass hits, you experience a Terrible reverb! If you are not experience any reverb then your car is not equipped with the noise cancelation system. If you are experience the noise, reverb from the bass then you need to locate the microphones. We have found them under the rear deck in between the rear deck speakers, in the ceiling in two locations and next to the Bluetooth microphone located by the sunroof switch. Hope this helps.

I unplugged them and it doesn’t fucking work. I been trying to find the ANC module itself for 3 hours now. I can’t figure it out. Fuck it.

nad d you may have to disable two microphones in the vechicle. There is one in the dome light area and one in the roof towards the rear of the vehicle. You will see the plug when you pull the headliner down.

Is this a humming noise or a reverb noise when your drive down the rode. If it's a humming noise, it's a ground loop. Check your ground and make sure it's a clean ground. You can also check your RCA cables to make sure their is no inference. Let me know
