The crotal bells are pretty neat. Im primarily a coin collector, but watching these videos is making me want to collect more, like those bells and buttons too. Some buttons are more expensive than coins.....and those bells (from what I saw on Ebay) sell for $25-$40 a piece. Very nice! Fantastic finds guys.
Absolutely incredible permission. If only every hunt could be like this. From the property owners being so gracious, friends together have a great time and some outstanding finds. It can't get much better than that. Thanks for sharing. Take care.
Another wonderful video! I loved the Roy Rogers badge. I live in Apple Valley, CA where he lived and can drive past what was once his home anytime. Super cool to see something like that so far away!
What an awesome residence to search for treasure. You gentlemen killed it . That property was a once in a lifetime permission. What a wonderful homeowner to permit three strangers to dig on their property. Congratulations on your discoveries. Great video.
Thanks Jay. We meet a lot of people doing this hobby but this couple was exceptionally kind. We will be bringing them some gifts to thank them for their generosity. I'm still friend;y with homeowner's that I detected their property years ago! That's one of the best parts of the hobby
Fantastic hunt, QH, all of you!!!! I'm already looking forward to the next adventure day! That small piece with the number "6" (a 9 would have a line drawn under it)... I think it might be the top of a knitting needle. I can't attach pics, or I would show mine. The numbered disk snaps onto a metal collar around the upper end of the needle, just like a button. The sterling silver handle (beautiful!) reminded me immediately of one of two things, button hook or ladies manicure set piece. Vanity and manicure sets were beautiful (my mother and my grandmother had one), could be very elaborate, and they often included a button hook.
Your last two shows are off the hook thank you quarter hoarder and your crew for another great show congratulations on your findes you guys are very inspiring to keep my faith in finding the real stuff I did have a good year i found a 1800s gold and silver ring and a 1942 Walking Liberty half-dollar silver coins and of course lots of great artifacts thanks again for a great show. going low and slow
Thanks Dennis, and it sounds like your last year was pretty amazing! I've never dug a gold coin so I can only imagine how exciting that must be. Not holding my breath for one, but we just never know. That's the beauty of the hobby!
Great variety of relics and Awesome coin finds Jason 😀 Love the Indians and Braided Hair Large Cent 😉 Big Congrats on those Reales...Fantastic Silver 👏👍👏🤗 Happy Hunting my Friend 😁
That yard produced big time! Dog tag Doug found that cool War Nickel with the big Denver mark "D" on it. What was so funny about that? Never mind Lol Anyway very cool finds and the homeowners were great!
i also thought of the song (one little,...... ect ) while viewing, before the wrap-up , enjoyed the video 👍 looking forward to your next post blessings
Thanks Don. We gotten pretty fortunate to knock a lot of old virgin ground properties lately. I’ve been on plenty of bad streaks before so I’m really enjoying this before winter sets in!
Awesome hunt!! Handcuff key! I cried when you pulled the croatal bell out and saw it was broken! What a heartbreaker 😢your good at finding the tokens. Pulled some cool coins, what a good day you and the guys had!
It seems the yards that used less fertilizer over the years wind up having cleaner coins. At least that's my theory with no scientific data to back that up. I guess more of a hunch then theory actually! lol
Very interesting finds in this garden ! Congratulations. The last coin, Carolus III means Charles III, king of Spain, died december 14th, 1788. Very nice find. Take care. 😊👍👍👍
Thanks Sylviane! I'm guessing you are from overseas. Normally only my European friends refer to someone's yard as their 'garden'. It always sounds funny when I read that. Over here it would be disrespectful to dig in someone's garden. lol
@@QuarterHoarder // True, I am from France. I didn't remember that using "garden" is not the proper word in American language, sorry about that, but it's correct in British language i think. I am glad it makes you smile ! Lol ! 😉 Thanks again for sharing.😊
hi rob and alex really nice finds there and wow the camo was nice my wife liked that also and the the tank was great find and the greyhound pin . keep up the good finds and enjoy your video
We always do really well the day after a rain. We normally dig on Saturdays and we all hope for rain on Friday! We’ll be back here again and next time concentrate on the deep squeakers. I’m sure there’s more colonial era coins, just gotta dig deep to get em!
Such a great place. I had never heard of the credit token so that was really interesting. It was amazing at all the variety you pulled out of there. Great hunt! Congrats again on the Reales.
Thanks Robyn! I knew what that credit card token was only because I dug another one last year. Now this second one give me sort of a small collection! lol Both are the same shape too, I guess that was kind of a standard.
wow so many comments so someone may have suggested the same (I am not reading all them ) but I believe the silver piece you showed the home owner is a handle to a old button hook I collect them and it looks just like that size I am just starting to do this metal detecting I got a simplex and all sorts of things to go detecting and just waiting on the ground to thaw here in Canada :) looks like tons of fun! great video :)
What an incredible property, congratulations! Some absolutely killer finds Jason, Spanish silver..woo hoo...lol. I just found an amazing bucket lister yesterday, should have the video up in the next day or so. But your sticker is still on my Ace 400, so you were kinda there..lol. Great hunt buddy, see you on the next one.. GL and HH!
Jason, Great Hunt. The biggest piece of lead looks like part of what old sailors (like me) call a "Lead Line". The lead bit was attached to a long cord of knotted line and tossed from the deck of a boat the see how deep the water is. The square opening in the lead was stuffed with tallow (beef fat) and some of the material from the bottom would stick to that so you could judge what the bottom was like. Could be very old. Cool HH
Awesome digging..Killer finds!! Huge congrats!! I think the number button is a number tack for storm windows.. You would match the numbers so all the windows right...i could be way off 🤔
I looked up those window tacks and it looks like that might just be right. I’m surprised I’ve never dig one before over the years. Thanks for the ID on that!
Those might not be the oldest finds for our standards, but man .. It sure is a plethora of cool finds! The Reales are just awesome :-) Thanks for sharing QH! Looking forward for the next diggin adventure. GL&HH!
Thanks! I’m not a picky digger. I like finding anything that might be a little unique or different. Reales are usually not even on my radar so to find two of them was just mind blowing!
Awesome finds! Great location! I also wante0d to congratulate you on making it onto Weekly Dirt. Those reales certainly earned that recognition!! Keep up the awesome work! Love your videos! Very fun and entertaining as well 😁
Huge variety of finds man. Love the silver & the 2 reales. When you found those 2 you were as excited as I was when I got my Lionel train for Christmas. Great 2 videos. HH
Oh man, it really was exciting to get those. I've never been so thrilled to see a coin before! Hope you still have those childhood Lionel's. I bet they're worth a few reales themselves!
Wow, man, what a great haul! Congrats on the silvers! The bottle has an Owens-Illinois mark used from 1929-54. Date code seems to be a "7" (maybe 1937, since there's no stippling on the base). Machine made. Not valuable but funny that it was whole.
Hi Jason mate, absolutely brilliant finds, that is one great permission... I might be absent for a while, living in two properties is hard, so I need to get sorted out with things... take care mate GL & HH Tom
True! It’s bad enough that Walmarts ruin the historic downtown areas of smaller towns by putting all the mom and pops out of business, although I won’t lie they are very convenient when you need them
Wow Jason, you have some really special coins there! I'd LOVE to know whose hand last touched that 1771 coin, before you coaxed it out of its hiding spot! Elsie, and her husband were very gracious homeowners, to give you 3 guys free rein on their property. The coins are really special, but my favorite has to be the silver hollow ware do-dad 😊
They were the sweetest couple. They even offered to let us detect and dig on their dirt floor basement. Some of the best parts of detecting so many homes are meeting the people that live there!
Incredible finds as always Jason! I really dig the Roy Rogers Badge. Love those kind of places that produce such a wide variety of finds. You guys get some really nice permissions!
I have a Roy Rodgers token that says ‘Good Luck Forever,’ that my Dad kept his whole life. He had it as a boy during the late 30s, early 40s. Now it’s in my wallet.
I think WWII veterans brought home a lot of foreign coins and currency back home with them. We seem to find a lot of them and they are almost always pre-1950. Just a guess really, but it helps me sleep at night from wondering.
Crikey. You found the 1923 Penny that we've been looking all over Australia for. We wondered where it got to. Some great finds there, and a very bountiful site. I wonder how that Aussie penny got there from here? Thanks for the journey, mate. Cheers!
Congratulations on the great finds, Jason! The Two Reales was minted in Lima, Peru. That can be determined by the ligate/intertwined "LIMAE" mint mark that appears after "REX". The "MI" are the assayer's initials. The Half Reale was minted in Mexico City.

Thanks Preacher! Some hunts the old coins are scarce so I really appreciate the days when we’re finding them!
Sweet round 2! Go for round 3! Good luck boys, always a good time!
There will be a round three here come late fall. For now we are on to another opponent though! 🙂
Hi. I'm from Missouri and love watching y'all. Doug makes my day! Thanks for the great videos.

Thanks Yoman! Appreciate the ID help too. I’m gonna check that valve stem cover tonight!

Thanks Gypsy. We’ll have a colonial property with your name on it if you’re ever up north.

Both of these videos were great and you nipped some great stuff your 1st reales are awesome ... congrats Jason
Thanks Jim. They weren’t even on my bucket list, I try to hope for more reasonable things. Just a total surprise!

Fancy Victorian era plant/garden marker!
You killed it on the coin Jason. This house is worth another trip, even if you've been there twice already!
Love watching you three together:) another fun video:)
Thanks Nancy!
Man, what a hunt...you boys done good!!
Haha...I read that as 1972!!! Gotta find a cheap flight!!
We are a man down tomorrow too, just me and Doug. You and Mikey gotta gas up the old minivan one of these weekends!
Awesome 2 day hunt Jason! A dream hunt for sure. You lost your mind with those Reales lol! Happy for you guys, congrats! GL & HH!

P and E Company is Ponds Extract Company. Lid to a Pond’s cold cream jar.
I found one this summer too!
I googled it and that’s exactly it! Thanks Scott!

Quite the board there Jason, well done man, atb . Michael
my pleasure.
Beautiful hunt! 😆 I’m subscribed to JD too!
The valve stem cover probably says Schrader Canada on it, they manufactured valve caps/ stem covers, they still make valves for bicycles.
I’ll have to re-examine it. The lettering was a little slick. Thanks for the help with that!
That is an amazing coin yard. You can tell it's never been hunted.
It was target fresh alright! Not too bad on trash either, really a great little spot!
Keep it up...great finds. Don't forget me if your in my area........you seem to wander into Pa a lot
Thanks Mako! Will do, we do seem to wander around a lot! 🙂
that key you found looks just like the 1 I have that opens my trunk from the 1800's...
Some of those old keys are really ornate. Always hard to date them but 1800s would not be out of the question. Thanks Steve!

Congratulations on the great finds, Jason! The Two Reales was minted in Lima, Peru. That can be determined by the ligate/intertwined "LIMAE" mint mark that appears after "REX". The "MI" are the assayer's initials. The Half Reale was minted in Mexico City.
