Many have asked what the blue PC stickers mean: They stand for "Perpetual Care," which means additional funds have been placed in an endowment for the perpetual care and maintenance of the gravesite. And quick corrections: Ed Wood was released in '94, not '90. And Bert Lahr won a Tony for "Foxy," not "Roxy."

We have a very old one in New Haven, Ct. called " *Yale Cemetery* " to mention a few folks buried here are: _Noah Webster; Roger Sherman Baldwin_ ,
_The Amistad Lawyer_ and _U.S. Sen. James Hillhouse_ . The cemetery, already designated a historical landmark, is maintained by the university.
A significant portion of the burial ground is reserved for Yale presidents and faculty.Sep 23, 2000. Another old Cemetery in New Haven, Ct is
" *The Grove Street Cemetery"* Band Leader Glenn Miller is buried here; Eli whitney Blake ( _Was an American inventor, best known for his mortise lock_

Up until her death I used to see Mae West being driven by chauffeured limo with out blackened windows so that everyone could see her sitting in the back. I'm from New York City and I always wondered where famous people were buried here. Amazingly, I passed the grave of Dom DeLuise only feet away on my way to work every day and didn't know I just had to stop on the outside of the fence. Thanks to this video I saw his tombstone today and I didn't even have to go inside the cemetery. I have always been creeped out by cemeteries. That's why I've never gone in there. These videos take me in there in my own city. Thanks man for this. I mean it.

I must confess! When I first came across this series, by accident I may add, I was convinced that it was going to be just another morbid almost voyeuristic journey down cemetery lane, but I must say, not only was I wrong in my assumption, but the whole format is done in a highly respectable manner to those lost souls of the silver screen, and the narrative is highly defined and informative which in turn makes for a highly absorbing series.

Maybe that's why cremation is the way to go. No ugly muss or fuss with the bones being strewn about to upset the survivors. Just pour out the ashes on the ground, in a stream, into the ocean or keep in the freezer. I've never heard of such revengeful doings. It certainly isn't in the guide books of Eire.

Thank you so much for giving me a chance to "visit" your graveyards, something I always wanted to do. I became an avid fan of classic cinema courtesy of many evenings spent with my dad while I was in high school and college. We forget how much of our lives and loves were influenced by the early pioneers of entertainment, industry, media, etc. Saddest part was that Houdini's beloved wife was not "permitted" by her family to be buried with her husband because it was a Jewish cemetary. What touched me the most was seeing the many stones placed on tombstones, showing to all how much those people touched the lives of others. Thank you again.

I drove Martin Landau to a movie premiere when I was a limo driver in LA. I picked him up from a high rise office building on Wilshire. I actually had to go up to his office to get him. He was working at a talent agency. They must have been doing some kind of casting because there were a gaggle of beautiful women in the lobby. I told the receptionist I was there to pick up him up and a few minutes later out he comes. He had a patch on his his eye and wouldn't shake my hand because he didn't want to give me pink eye, or whatever kind of infection he had. We rode down the elevator together. I thought holy crap I am in an elevator with Martin Landau. We got into the limo then I couldn't get the damn limo out of the parking garage. He was really cool about it. After a few minutes I finally was able to get the boat-ish 10 passenger stretch out of the parking garage and I dropped him off at a theater somewhere in Westwood. I picked him up and took him back to the his office. He shook my hand and gave me 20 bucks, and asked for my business card, which I thought was kind of cool. Nice, down to earth guy.

I liked video 1 and now 2 of New York's Cemeteries. I was visiting a cemetery in Oneida, NY, and the tombstones and various cut stone, dated back to 1690 up to 2004 (when I visited there). I loved it! Kinda sad to see Monty Cliff, buried in a cemetery that hardly anyone knows it's there. Because of his mother who was a Quaker. To bad he never left a will or a wish. I loved him in Red River. Thank you for the tour, it was great. The first video was fall, and it is really beautiful in New York during the fall.

Brittany Rozenberg Hollander Not quite so simple. This was a decision made by Bess Houdini’s family not to have her buried with him because of the religious differences. To my knowledge, there has never been a Catholic decree on mixed faith burials and I do not believe there is one on the Jewish side. Basically, family used religion as an excuse. Why I stated that love transcends the petty concerns of mere mortals.
No hard feelings, just it makes me angry given how much they loved each other.

      Death and Legacy
Despite earning millions during his lifetime, Robinson died poor in 1949, at the age of 71. Much of his wealth went to charities in Harlem and beyond before his death. Robinson's funeral, arranged by longtime friend and television host Ed Sullivan, was held at the 369th Infantry Regiment Armory and attended by thousands, including many stars from the entertainment industry. A eulogy by Adam Clayton Powell Sr. (father of Congressman Adam Clayton Powell Jr.) was broadcast over the radio. Robinson was buried in the Cemetery of the Evergreens in Brooklyn, New York. (from the article I found with the link above. This means that Mr. Reynold's assertion was indeed correct on this matter.
